"We booked 2 nights for a relaxing spa weekend. Based on it being a spa hotel. We planned on staying in the hotel for the whole weekend.  When we arrived we were told there was no restaurant or bar we can use as it’s only used for events.  We then had some lunch in the spa cafe. Food was ok. Service was terrible.  We then went to the room as we were able to check in. The cleaner was still there. Very apologetic extremely polite and lovely. The room was absolutely wonderful. Large bedroom bathroom and living room.  We went out and found a pub for food. When we returned to relax in the room we found the party was directly below us and in full swing. Very loud and noisy and the smoking area was right outside our window. We called reception but they were fully booked. Glad to say it all stopped at midnight.  We went down to breakfast at 9.30. Not much left and the full breakfast was cold. When we questioned it we were just told”well it has been there since 7” it had just sat on the side in silver trays for 2.5 hours, no heat or option to reheat. It wasn’t edible.  We skipped breakfast that we paid for on the second day.  We then thought we would spend some time in the spa. Ha! Well the pool is small, no where to relax just a couple of plastic chairs, not a spa at all. It had a very small sauna and steam room. The jacuzzi didn’t work it was just a pool of cloudy water with a few bubbles.  Would not recommend. Seems it used to be and could be a wonderful place to be but has been taken over and lost its sole. Such a shame as the building and grounds are wonderful.  I have to add the cleaning staff and lady on reception were wonderful, welcoming and friendly."

"In maart was de kamer groot en comfortabel, maar de douche had wel krachtiger kunnen zijn, maar goed voor een persoon met een klein haar als ik! Geen TV in de kamer, maar dat was geen probleem voor ons. De ontbijtkamer was mooi en chic, en een geweldige bonus zoals we het voor onszelf hadden. Continentaal ontbijt was rijk en vers. Een aantal thees en koffie ook beschikbaar. Een prachtig B&B"

"Uitstekende kamer en doucheruimte voorzieningen, inclusief een ijzer en een fan in de kamer. Rustig bedroombijlage, overwegende de nabijheid van het Inn aan een drukke weg. Het ontbijt was fatsoenlijk, hoewel gekraakte eieren meer als een omelet waren. Uitstekend."

"My third stay at the Nog Inn and again it was spot on. Comfy bed, clean room, really well appointed and very welcoming and friendly welcome. Will definitely be back."
