I would like to thank the fairy know hotel staff for making our family weekend awesome. they were very helpful and attentive throughout the weekend. The front reception attendant was Carl were very friendly and knowledgeable. thanks for your help, Carl. This was my first running of the Outeniqua marathon, and the hotel was just the right place to settle and relax afterwards. The braai spots next to the river where you can braai yourself with family are great and the breakfast buffet are awesome.

Spent one night passing through Wilderness. Far too short! Next time round we will stop for at least 2 if not more. This a beautiful place in so many ways - its location amongst the Wilderness lakes, being able to hear the sea amidst the tranquility of thewater channels, the birds, the reeds, the bush. The hotel is a pleasure to stay at, lovely food, comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful and the veggie gardens are stunning! walking, kayaking, swimming. Most of all, loved the peace and seclusion of this very special place.

Value for money.Very friendly and efficient staff.Love the smaller type Hotel.Rooms are great,especially ground floor river facing. Have been going to Fairie Knowe for many years and will be returning soon.We just love it there.

Large room, beautiful view with excellent breakfast. We would love to be back and stay maybe a little longer. The setting and views are spectacular, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely time.. Canoed with the kids on the beautiful river. We also enjoyed the food and the beach are not to far. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and play area outside. There are also a braai area next to the river

We spent three days at the Fairy Knowe Hotel in March. We stayed in one of the rondavels, which we found comfortable and where we had a river view. My husband has mobility issues and the rondavel, with its walk-in shower, was ideal for us. The food and service were excellent. We loved wandering round the gardens and their vegetable garden is something to behold! We will definitely return.

My favourite place to stay in Wilderness. You don’t have to cross a road to get to the river! The spacious, clean rooms with a luxurious big bed open right onto it and you have access to the kayaks anytime.
