It is very sad situation that there is no beach access for an island resort yet the hotel is very nice and Maro Dyalina is a pearl. Her service is amazing and she make sure all the guests enjoy their stay.

I will try and keep this review to the point. Arrived for a 7 day stay at this hotel. Hotel looks amazing from everywhere. Booked a dazzling sea view room and when we arrived I realised it was not a dazzling sea view room and was more what other hotels would refer to as a partial sea view room - showing slight sea view from a corner. I raised it with staff who advised it was sea view but could look at it tomorrow which given the time I agreed to. I also raised it with my travel company. The following morning in the afternoon I was shown another room which wasn’t a proper sea view either. Given that I paid a considerable amount more for a sea view I wasn’t happy with the room provided. I showed the guy in reception the photo of the room I chose when booking and he told me that it “was just marketing” to which I responded it’s false advertising - he then walked off and left us. Later in the day we had a call from guest relations to ask how our first night had been etc which was nice and I explained the night had been ok but room wasn’t good. The lady told me I was in a urban city room not a dazzling sea view which I had chosen and paid more for. I later received a call from my travel company who advised that another room would be shown. Guest manager maria advised she wasn’t sure why we had been told it was city urban view but the new room was front facing sea view - we eventually moved on day 2 and there was no reimbur*****t for the days we were in the incorrect room. The new room was good but just a shame that it took so long to resolve as nobody wants a bad start to their holiday. My second critique of this hotel is front reception staff - mainly the men. Their attitude is poor and any questions appear to be a chore for them. When we arrived I asked about late checkout as our flight wasn’t until 11.55pm. I was told to request it a day before which I did. I was then told to come at 9pm and I explained I had dinner reservations but would come later In the night. I already knew there was an additional charge to keep the room which I was happy to pay. I was then told the hotel was fully booked and late checkout was not available now but we would have access to facilities. This again left a sour note to the holiday as it meant we had to rush and pack and then didn’t have comforts of using bathroom or resting etc. I also checked the hotel website and *********** which showed the hotel did have room availability so the guy on reception was being dishonest. I did challenge him On this but he didn’t appear to care and said if I wanted to book another room I could but it wouldn’t be ready until 3pm the next day. I could write so much more about this experience but overall it really ruined the day and final day of holiday. What was meant to be a relaxing day ended up being stressful as we had to be out the room by 11 and then had nowhere to really rest. Now onto the positives because there are some. The photos really don’t do this hotel justice. It’s beautiful with its own private beach. We stayed for a week at the end of the season and had the most amazing time. The hotel is clean, bright and welcoming. The restaurant staff are brilliant and the food excellent. Although the hotel is built into the hillside, there are 3 lifts and golf type buggies to get about on as it’s very steep in places. We used the gym a lot and it’s very well equipped, clean and air conditioned. The beach is great with a restaurant/cafe and bar. The staff there (especially Marianna and Chris) are brilliant. We also hired one of the boats a couple of times to sail around the bay. Also walked into Elounda which takes about 20/25 minutes at a stroll. Take care in places though as there aren’t any paths. All in all we’re definitely going back and probably in October again. Brilliant!

GGuest UserThis is a lovely hotel and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The whole ambience is very laid back and chilled with attentive but not over bearing staff. We had a room with a private pool which was great, the rooms are large, our aircon was the most efficient and quiet unit I’ve ever had abroad. The rooms are well equipped, fridge, espresso machine, tea making facility, TV and large bathroom with walk in shower, very clean and done every day with robes, room towels and beach towels changed daily or on request. The location was very quiet other than the church bells on Sunday morning which is quite the wake up. Sissi itself is quite small, everywhere within walking distance and nice souvenir shops, tavernas and plenty of car, bike and quad bike hire options. There are plenty of sun beds round the main pool area with pergolas as well, the whole place is immaculately kept.

IIna IlyaevIt was 4 nights at the hotel. Room is beautiful, room 611, right next to the small pool (there is still
big, main, with sea view). The hotel area is very well-designed, shadowy streets, all in green, many recreation zones with sea view.Sea in 30-50 meters, but it is not a beach. The beach is a little sideways, in a wonderful lagoon without waves, clean, sand, Just a minute walk from the hotel. At 200 meters, a great supermarket - there is everything! including clothes and swimsuits. Amelia's excellent tavern, too, at 200 meters. On the other side of the lagoon (walking) there are many taverns and 24-hour bars, there is a terrace over the lagoon, It's especially beautiful in the evening. Someone wrote to bring a teapot and towels. Everything is in the room, and a teapot and a beach towel. Breakfast: the same every day, different only coughs. Eye and bean, no salads, there are chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. Cheese, oils, yogurts, fruits. And delicious local doughnuts and laid cheese cakes. Good breakfast. From the entertainment in the hotel itself was a saxophone evening, dance.. pleasant. The sea noise and cycades are the best music. I recommend 100%, great rest!
