We boekten rechtstreeks met het hotel een junior suite met privé zwembad op Rock 1 in oktober 2021 voor een verblijf van 15 nachten in september 2022. Bij aankomst werd dit Rock 2, waarom ? Voor een prijs van € 1.300/nacht verwacht men een picobello kamer. Dit was een een 5* onwaardig. Matrassen op zonnebedden waren smerig, witte zetel in de kamer was vies, terras onbruikbaar omwille van lekken, terrastegel was stuk en stak omhoog. Kleerkast: piepklein, geen bergruimte, douchecel zonder verlichting, … zal ik nog uitweiden? We boekten in een clubkamer dwz ontbijt in een aparte ruimte. Iedereen kwam daar ontbijten, geen controle. Ontbijtbuffet : uitgebreid tot een veredelde saladebar. Omelet bestellen: de bereiding was steeds ondermaats. Een 5* dat geen Egg Benedict kent! Verplicht om half board te boeken. B&B ging niet. Wanneer men niet opteert om naar het a la carte restaurant te gaan, werd men verplicht naar een buffet te gaan. Ideaal voor vegetariërs want voor het overige was het beneden alle peil. A la carte: was goed, maar geen hoogvlieger met zeer beperkte kaart. Keuze uit 2 voorgerechten, 2 vis- en 2 vleesgerechten. Na 15 dagen ben je wel uitgekeken. We weten dat roomservice altijd duurder is. Geen probleem, perfect. Maar voor een clubsandwich € 28 aanrekenen en dan nog eens € 5 surplus voor het brengen? Handdoeken verversen, leg deze in het bad. Verse handdoeken? Ofwel geen, ofwel de reeds gebruikte onder de badjas gehangen. De dame van de avondservice zoekt nog naar haar fooi voor de diensten. Sorry. En top of the Bill: bij terugkeer na een bezoek aan een uitstekend restaurant in de buurt, stond onze kamerdeur wagenwijd open. Dit alles kan niet opgelost worden door een gratis diner aan te bieden. Dit is een schande en geen 5* waardig en dit hotel is dus lid van Small Luxury Hotels of the World en aan die organisatie alle foto’s en bewijsstukken zullen worden overgemaakt. Het is spijtig want het hotel ligt op een zeer rustige en pittoreske locatie. Dit hotel dient alles, maar dan ook alles te reorganiseren en te restaureren. Ik boek geen vakantie om te belanden in Fawlty Towers toestanden.

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel. The staff are all extremely helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Buzzers on the parasols, 1 buzz and the waiter would be on his way immediately. Sitting outside for dinner at the Greek restaurant, right by the sea, great food, a background of Greek music or a jaz trio and the temperature just right equates to being as good as it gets. I couldn't fault the place. We came here to crash out for a week and I have never been to a place better suited to that.

The hotel is very calming and well organised. Was very warm and quiet during our stay. Loved all the food from all the restaurants and service was friendly and cheerful throughout. Accommodation over two floors with private pool was fabulous and we also enjoyed the main pools and beach.

We had a wonderful weekend at St. Nicolas Bay Resort Hotel and Villas . A lovely hotel in a beautiful and peaceful location. We had an amazing room very big, clean with all the comforts and with a great sea view.The Hotel Manager Mr. Alexandros Glinos and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous and the facilities were great! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

St. Nicholas Bay Hotel has been a cornerstone of our family memories for nearly 20 years. Beginning with my 15th birthday and continuing as I've grown to 33, this place holds a special place in our hearts. Every return visit feels like coming home. There is something magical about St Nicholas Bay. You have to visit to experience it. As soon as you arrive there's an immediate sense of homecoming. The heart and soul of the hotel is its team. Alex, the General Manager, sets the gold standard for hospitality. His commitment to excellence is palpable in every aspect of the hotel, leading a team that’s nothing short of extraordinary, from the waitstaff to the attentive cleaners. The team goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued. The resort is luxurious, but in a classy traditional sense, setting it apart from other typical 5-star hotels. There's an ineffable magic about St. Nicholas Bay. There's a warmth and charm that envelops you. It's not just the picturesque surroundings, the pristine rooms, or the top-notch amenities; it's the soul of the hotel that truly sets it apart.

Second time at this hotel. The facilities are excellent. We paid for full board but I’m not sure I’d do that again as we really only needed a basic lunch. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well looked after. The staff were fantastic. We only had one grumble. The music at the Blue Bay restaurant consists of one tape only. After 7 days of this we were sick of it. That said, we will be back.

We are a family of 6 people, and we booked the 3-bedroom villa. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff are great. The food is tasty. The beach is excellent. They care about their guests; you can feel it in anything they do. We will come back.

The Hotel was in a beautiful position , our bedroom 604 with its own pool and terrace was peaceful looking onto the garden and sea . The food was delicious and what really stood out was the quality of exceptional service from the staff lead by the Manager. The range of facilities ensured tranquility .Nothing was too much trouble , offers of help , smiles and kindness. Undoubtedly the best holiday we can remember

Lied about our booking - do not trust the photos. We booked a club suite hot tub room and it was in a shared communal area. Staff were then unable to move us to the correct room that we booked and the only offer of help was to move to a higher package room and pay £200 more a night. Really horrible start to the holiday. Poor service. Won’t be coming back here. Such a shame. They also wouldn’t refund us, but still offered to cancel our room (with no refund). Not very pleasant.
