"Our experience at the Charred Oaks Inn was wonderful. Amenities were very nice including a comfortable King Size bed with two high back sitting chairs by an electronic fireplace. It has plenty of 1800’s charm with modern updates. Pamela and Richard were amazing hosts… personable, charming and knowledgeable about area restaurants, distilleries and the equestrian industry. Pamela is a gourmet chef as reflected in amazing breakfasts. We can’t wait to visit again. Melissa & David C."

"There were mold spots on the ceiling, doors, baseboards. The comforter on the bed had mold spots. Room smelled musty. There was a dehumidifier in the room but that doesn’t take existing mold away. Bathroom was grimy. Breakfast was pretty good. Was so happy when I got in my car to drive home. "

"My wife and I have just completed our wonderful twelve-year anniversary trip by staying 3-nights at Charred Oaks, Versailles, KY. The owners Pamela & Richard, truly provide the highest level of luxury and comfort possible. The Inn is truly beautiful and gives you a tremendous feel for the Kentucky heritage. Pamela’s breakfasts and afternoon snacks are definitively five-star meals that complement your daily stays. Pamela & Richard welcome you into their home and really make you feel like you are part of the family. We know they have made many new friends over the years and they B&B family is growing every day. We are very fortunate to be able to travel throughout the world and we feel grateful that we have now stayed in what we think is one of the top ranked Inns in the world. Doug L."

"Ik had nooit de B&B-ervaring gehad tot we de Rose Hill Inn bezochten. Ik kan zeggen dat ik de ervaring absoluut hield. Wij en twee andere paarden waren er en hadden het beste tijd. Robin & Family waren grappig en gastvrij. Altijd beschikbaar. Elke kamer, evenals de belangrijkste woonruimten, waren prachtig ingericht. Badkamers waren prachtig en alles was uitzonderlijk schoon. Wanneer u in een 200 jaar oud huis woont, kunt u niet verwachten dat u zulke moderne voorzieningen hebt, maar ze waren prachtig. De hele reis voelde alsof we een thuisbasis hadden. Het ontbijt elke ochtend was ook heerlijk. Ook zeer ingewikkeld in dat gebied. Over het algemeen zou ik niet hechten om terug te gaan, of aanbevelen, dit centraal gelegen Inn aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een plek om te blijven tijdens het reizen."
