"Geweldig hostel! De locatie is vrij dicht bij de attracties en bars/restaurants. Receptionisten waren behulpzaam. Het was fijn om 's ochtends te ontbijten. Ik vond het persoonlijk fijn dat de gedeelde badkamers privacy hebben. Ze hebben terrassen. Dat was ook fijn om wat tijd door te brengen. Speciale dank aan Alex ❤️"

"We stayed at Casa Puente Hotel Boutique which was fabulous. An art hotel. I loved Valparaiso though the downtown area is best avoided at night. But the hills Allegra and Concepcion are great and vibrant places to stay. A real art city with a wonderful and rich colonial history. Also recommend Pablo Neruda’s house (now a museum) at the top of town. We spent a brilliant two days here - which is about what I reckon it’s worth."

"Valparaiso is truly a beautiful mountain town. Away from the hustle and bustle of Santiago, it felt like returning to a small town reminiscent of Uruguay's colonies. The warmth and kindness of the people were palpable. I love these small places, away from big cities. The hotel even had a great platform for taking photos. I spent three reluctant days in this town, taking the bus back and forth to the capital. I loved it here! The hotel was also very conveniently located near the tourist areas of the town, all within a 1km walk. The most beautiful spots are in this area. Both the hotels in Santiago and Valparaiso have excellent security measures. I love it here! The evening bus at check-out time offered luggage storage and a place to relax on the platform. Small towns are truly wonderful."

"Ze geven het beeld dat goedkoop is, maar eigenlijk voor het nieuwe jaar zeer duur voor de kamer met een kluisje dat zich ontwapend, gemalen zaden en wat te zeggen over het bad met geluk schoonmaken het eens per week. Bovendien om te reserveren, hoewel het wordt aangenomen dat ze niet opladen tot aankomst hocieton in één quota voor aankomst. Bad price and bad quality. They offer like a good opportunity for the for foreign tourists. Maar je kunt echt een zeer goede betere optie in andere hostels, hotels of B&B in Valaparaíso krijgen. Je neemt je tijd in het oog."

"Dit is de perfecte plek om te blijven bij het bezoeken van Valparaiso. Gelegen in de beste buurt (in mijn mening) in de stad en goed geprijsd. Perfecte wandelafstand tot grote restaurants, cafés en winkels. Het hotel heeft een uitstekende, uitzonderlijk vriendelijke en handige service.De kamer en de badkamer waren ruime met een perfect uitzicht op de haven en zeer schoon. Ze hebben een auto om je naar en van je restaurant te rijden (indien beschikbaar) als het dichtbij is, wat helpt als je niet wilt klimmen op een paar van de stevige heuvels in de buurt. We hebben diner in het restaurant op de eerste avond, op de buitenpauze. Het eten was heerlijk, evenals de lokale wijnselectie, en het personeel was vriendelijk en opmerkzaam. Het ontbijt werd in de ochtend opgenomen met een mooie selectie van eenvoudige a la carte-artikelen of eieren bereid zoals u wilt. Alleen opmerking, de koffie kan worden verbeterd. Het zwembad was een bonus die de haven uitzicht geeft. Over het algemeen verschrikkelijk!!"

"This is a large, 5 bedroomed guest house that will take some beating. It has been tastefully renovated by the owner in a traditional style. The beds are old fashioned wooden head and footboarded and very comfortable. The owner took great pains to welcome us with recommendations about the best places to visit in the city and good restaurants. breakfast was lovely and the staff could not have been nicer with a bonus of reasonably good english. If I ever return to Valperaiso, this is where I will head to"

"Wonderful welcome from the proprietor, who gave us a great orientation to Valparaiso and couldn’t do too much for us and recommended excellent restaurante. Location was fantastic within walking distance of everything but in a safe part of town. The breakfast was delicious and our room spacious and with a wonderful view. The only challenge was we didn’t get much sleep as there was no air conditioning so we kept the windows open which meant we were awakened by the dogs of Valparaiso who bark regularaly throughout the night."
