Very friendly reception staff - I was leaving very early the next morning and that was no bother. Close to and easy access to Christchurch airport. Supermarket and restaurants just down the road made for a nice walk after a day's driving. Room was very comfortable - good sound proofing, did not hear the main road at all. Nice modern bathroom. I didn't use the kitchenette, or the heat pump (but appreciated that there was a heat pump if needed). Great value for money.

The next day, Christchurch flew to Auckland, so it was close to the airport. The Chinese-speaking girl at the front desk had a feeling of kindness in talking about Chinese in ten days. The shared parts of the motel were large, convenient, and quiet. Good feelings are good.

This motel was great, friendly staff / owners, great location, very clean and tidy and very well priced. The lady that checked us in went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with everything, helped us with our bags and even bought us chocolates to our room. Stayed here just one night. The room was clean, bed comfortable, free WiFi, good water pressure/hot water and basic cooking facilities/utensils available (2 element hob and microwave) and fridge which suited us. Good price and handy location. The only downside, was our room fronted Blenheim Road with a lot of road noise. Ear plugs would be helpful especially if you are a light sleeper.
