Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

Cool place. Felt luxurious without the fuss of a bigger resort. Pool table and games in lounge were great for our teenage boys. And probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had included in any hotel stay (luxury hotels included)! Fredh, healthy and very tasty! Highly recommended.

My two girlfriends and I had a fantastic 6-night stay at Hotel Cabañas in the two queen bed beachfront room with plunge pool. This was our first time visiting Tulum and the hotel’s location was absolutely perfect - the beach was pristine and it was just a short walk to dozens of excellent restaurants. We felt totally safe in the hotel as well as walking around the neighborhood at night. We were pleased that it was quiet, as many of the beach clubs/hotels down the road BLAST loud music all day. Our room was extremely clean and cozy and we were impressed by the very thorough daily housekeeping (they even washed our windows every day!!). The hotel staff also makes an effort to protect the sea turtles by closing off and securing their nesting areas on the beach which we thought we nice. We also very much enjoyed our complimentary breakfast every day at our choice of Ziggys or Frescos just steps away from the hotel which were both incredible. We used the room service a few times as well via WhatsApp which was very convenient. Every single staff member was extremely kind and really seemed to care about making us comfortable and accommodating our needs (special shout outs to Freddy, Antonio, Felipe & Luis - they are the best!!) We also utilized the free spa hydrotherapy every day (sauna, steam room, hot tub & cold plunge) and got massages for an additional cost which were wonderful. We would fully recommend staying here and would love to come again in the future. Thank you Hotel Cabañas!

What a great place! We (husband, 2 adult children) went for my 60th birthday. The location is perfect. The people that work at the hotel are all so nice. The pool and the furniture at the pool was so nice and inviting. The restaurants Ziggy's and Frescos were both so good. We could have breakfast at either restaurant in the morning and that was included. The beds were very comfortable. The spa was awesome. We did do 2 days of treatments which were incredible. Even if you weren't doing a treatment, you could still do the hydrotherapy. We did it every day! Navil and Fredy at the front desk were so nice and helpful. I have been emailing them for so long with questions. They were always responsive and hospitable. We could walk to many locations because the hotel is in a great spot. We went to many restaurants but kept saying that our first dinner at Ziggy's was one of the best. Breakfast at either restaurant was always delicious. You could also swim in the water at the beach although there was a red flag. There was one stormy day, so we stayed out of the water. It is a great place and I highly recommend it!

Cutest rooms ever. We stayed in 2 rooms. One that was facing the pool and the last part of the week we upgraded to ocean view. Both were special in their own way :) can’t go wrong with any room on the resort. Each with a personal dipping pool. Breakfast is great from their cafe in the morning. Fun location. The staff is A++

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Cabanas and I would definitely return. This hotel is so clean and relaxing and a short walk to everything! The staff is friendly and the amenities are great. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was nothing short of amazing! We also enjoyed use of the bikes to explore the area and the spa area was very relaxing!

Fabulous place set in a peaceful environment. Freddy was our concierge,he was super accommodating, welcoming and even helped organize our excursion trips. The hotel was situated a perfect in non-party location , but not too far away from everything either if one wanted to engage in festivities. Staff and room service were fantastic and very accommodating. The food was of excellent quality and very fresh. Drinks were amazing! Overall we had a fantastic worry-free time.

My Wife and I had an excellent time at Cabanas Tulum. They go out of their way to take care you and go the extra mile for the little details. From the minute you walk in you are welcome with a smile and a very tasteful and refreshing drink. The check in process is a breeze as well. It was my wife’s birthday and they decorated our room for her before we arrived. At breakfast on her birthday they brought her out a small desert with a happy birthday sign and sang happy birthday without me even having to ask. The rooms are excellent, we stayed in the beachfront room and it was wonderful. The rooms are very clean and extremely well maintained. At night having direct access to the beach with your own private pool it’s amazing. Their food is wonderful and the servings are very generous. Their drinks are delicious and well served. My wife and I had the best time at this hotel! It was our most relaxing trip ever. Everything from the staff to the food to the aesthetics were exceptional. All of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They fulfilled all requests and even decorated our room for my wife's birthday, along with a bottle of sparkling wine. They were able to answer any questions and gave us recommendations for activities to do in the surrounding area. David helped us with our bags. David's promptness and professionalism enhanced our overall experience, setting the tone for a pleasant stay. Both restaurants we had access to were great! The complimentary breakfast was always delicious with great service. Felipe at Fresco's was very welcoming and always gave a fun vibe. The spa services is also a must. The massages and the complimentary hydrotherapy were very relaxing. This hotel offers many pleasant activities to include yoga sessions that furthered our relaxation. For a seamless stay filled with warmth and efficiency, I highly recommend this hotel.

If i could give this property 10 stars I would! I have to say, this was one of the best experiences that I've had on a trip to Mexico. I've been traveling to this country for 10 years but this property really wowed me with the service, the cleanliness of the beach and the food! Me and my partner had a King Sunset room with a rooftop hot tub and it was beautiful! The personalized service offered from Ziggy's, Freso's and even room service was consistently great. This property has it together and the staff is thorough and always happy to help! We will be coming back and bring our friends to experience this property again. Felipe at Fresco's was the man!! I honestly have no complaints. The location, the details in the property's layout, the views of the beach, the pool area... I'm still amazed at how perfect my vacation was and I owe it all to the staff at Cabanas Tulum!
