Ik begon in mijn jongere dagen en verbleef in driesterrenhotels en werkte mezelf tegenwoordig op tot vijfsterrenhotels. Tijdens deze recente weekendtrip heb ik mijn post-kerstuitgaven ingehouden en kreeg ik een geweldige deal bij Kore, dus ik waagde er een gokje op ondanks alle negatieve recensies. Ik vind de beoordelingen van 1 op 5 belachelijk oneerlijk. Kamers waren groot, schoon en comfortabel. Locatie was redelijk en had een prachtig uitzicht op de zee. Ik heb alleen ontbeten omdat ik graag erop uit ga en de omgeving wil verkennen, dus ik kan je niet veel vertellen over de kwaliteit van het eten. De obers waren goed, zodra ik ging zitten, werd mijn koffie ingeschonken. Nadat ze mijn fooi hadden herkend, hoefde ik nooit meer in de rij te staan om mijn omeletten te halen. Het beste deel was de service van de conciërge bij de receptie (de Mexicaanse soap-opera uitziende man) Victor. Kerel was altijd zo aardig en behulpzaam. Bij het afrekenen had ik een late vlucht, hij wist dat ik van fietsen hou, dus liet hij me mijn armband houden om toegang te hebben tot mijn shuttle arriveerde. Ik heb de meeste problemen met deze beoordelingen niet ondervonden. Engels sprekend personeel was een uitdaging, maar ik merkte dat dat overal in Tulum een probleem was. Over het geheel genomen zou dit hotel, als je de strikte AAA-richtlijnen zou volgen, waarschijnlijk een beoordeling van 3-3,5 krijgen en dichter bij een 4 van de genereuze boekingssites. Dit was geen Hyatt, maar een goede waarde. Laat je niet ontmoedigen door die 1-sterbeoordelingen.

Let’s see/ the place looked beautiful online but it was DEAD.
Service is slow and non chalant and they care way more about trying to upgrade you than accommodate you.
I did enjoy the free bicycle but it ended at 6 pm.
It’s a $40 USD cab ride each way to go catch dinner on the hotel zone with others.
The room at a hot tub that only ran cold and takes 40 min to fill.
The tv remote would not switch to English
The ac stopped working at 3 am
They only left 2 bottles of water for whole stay in Mexico where you can’t tap.
The room fan didn’t work
The water pressure was super low.
The water turned off from 4-7 am as in no plumbing !
Oh and I paid for a $75 USD dinner and then proceeded to get extreme food poisoning from it. The phone to call the front desk was not answered till 7 am.
They told me it was probably from a mosquito” and that they could only extend my checkout 1 hour without charging me another $100. I was so sick I couldn’t leave the room. No one came to help w bags. When i did leave at 1 pm the lady was like “you’re my very last checkout” as if it was my fault I got food poisoning at their resort.
The taxi to get to hard rock riviera maya was $108 USD… all around … not a good stay even if the property looks pretty.

真是住了那麼多全包，這個就是最垃圾沒有之一，餐廳衹有一間，沒有沙灘
態度非常非常差！給我們分配了個沒有熱水的房子，和前台溝通無果，衹能讓攜程幫忙溝通，過去了3小時才給我們換了另一間….
真的無敵垃圾，國人避雷！

Hier geboekt omdat onze vrienden een bruiloft hadden in Papaya verderop in de straat. De ingang van het hotel is mooi, sereen. Personeel was supervriendelijk. Helaas was de kamer niet zo schoon als we hadden gehoopt en hadden we twee dagen dat de kamer helemaal niet werd schoongemaakt en dat de koelkast niet werd bijgevuld met water. Grote en goede AC wel.
Het restaurant de eerste nacht was afschuwelijk. Het was een steakbuffet. De steak was 100% oneetbaar. Zoveel kraakbeen. We bestelden later die avond roomservice om te zien of het bevredigend zou zijn. Het was niet. De pasta was smakeloos, de kippenvleugels waren OK, de "runderburger" was als een met tankstation gevulde hamburger. Uiteindelijk deden we alleen ontbijt via roomservice daar, wat ook gewoon ok was. Ze adverteerden ontbijten, zoals de Americano, met eieren / vlees / fruit / toast / sap / drankje, maar 4 van de 5 keer werd het geserveerd met alleen de eieren en koffie en vlees. Twee van de 5 keer was het het verkeerde vlees. Pannenkoeken waren ook oneetbaar. Als dikke pannenkoeken, dus ze waren rubberachtig.
Het zwembad was helemaal niet ontspannend vanwege een schuimfeest en LUIDE feest / house / rapmuziek. Niet wat we zochten.
Mijn vriend bestelde kapitein en cola, waarop de servers "oké" zeiden, maar de drank die hij kreeg was helemaal geen kapitein. Oplichterij.
De kamer was zo luid. We hoorden iedereen en alles gedurende de nacht. Helemaal geen geluidsbuffers. De manier waarop de gebouwen zijn ontworpen, zorgt voor superecho bij de ingangen van de deuren. Werd een paar keer gewekt door luide groepen dronken vrouwen.

I wish I could say I had a great time in Tulum, but this hotel wrecked any chance of that. I booked with a large group and sadly we all had a bad experience here over the course of 4 days.
Pros- Lovely pool, bar and waitstaff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was great.
Cons- Food took 1-2 hours when dining at the restaurant for lunch or dinner. This was very consistent and we dined in small groups at these hours.
Quality of the served food was simply very poor. We tried a different option each day hoping that each unappetizing dish was a fluke, but this was consistent. The last few days we simply had to eat elsewhere.
We had items stolen from our safe in the room and the code changed. I alerted the front desk and then the concierge. They attempted to gaslight me and nothing was done about it, and I have followed up with them many times, before and after leaving the property. After reading reviews, this is a consistent issue.
We were not told that removing the wrist band would be an issue- but one of the girls in our party removed hers and we were nearly not let back into the property after being out for late night drinks, with documentation that we were staying there.
This is upon many other issues- brown water coming from the faucet, being denied drinking water, inconsistent cleaning, many issues with 3rd party booking not aligning with what the property reported on their end.
Will not be back, and sorry to report that I would not recommend anyone else do so either.

The resort is perfect for relaxing and spending some quiet time. The resort itself is very aesthetically pleasing. There are 2 public beaches nearby. The only thing we didn’t like was the food. It tasted stale and bland.

Alberto was the best part of our stay! Amazing entertainmrnt coordinator. The property can stand to provide a daily schedule of events so guest will know what is taking place daily. Also, making sure water is not brown in rooms for proper bathing to take place.

We pay extras money for the room have bathtub…you can’t even use it. Water is dripping in to the tub and not even hot…end up we have to use champagne bucket to carry water from the shower to fill up the tub. How terrible is that.
Shower water even keep same temperature…minute cold next minute is hot burn.
On hotel website said that few restaurants open on this property…is only one open and the food is so bad. Very dry and low quality. I always have mimosas with my breakfast when on vacation and they said no service wine till 11am. On grapes fruit tray have “maggots” I did call the manager to show him…I forgot to bring my phone to take pictures and post it here.
I travel a lot I don’t complain unless very bad and terrible.
The owner need to fix the water problem.
Restaurant need to do better.
All the staff is need and friendly.
The room is clean.

The property has nice landscaping, pretty buildings, is quiet, and with a good ocean view. The main issue is water and amenities. The water pressure is low, sometimes comes out brown, almost always the wrong temperature. It made for uncomfortable showers and no jacuzzi in the room or spa as advertised because of the dysfinctional water. The amenities were inconsistent ... Things like did we get water in our rooms, shampoo, syrup for pancakes... For some reason these little things just were not consistently available. And the food was just average, pretty bland, but adequate portions.
