The resort from outside looks very nice, but that all what I can say nice thing about this place. The beach side very poor, too far to walk. Transportation inside hotels almost not existed. Food less then average. The specialist restaurants almost not eatable. All together less then average, I would definitely never come back to this resort…

The number one reason I have this property a poor review is because of a woman named Valeria working the front desk on the morning of Monday March 4, 2024. On the third day of my stay I caught the flu. I did my best to isolate in my room , but I had to go to the front desk to cancel my a la carte restaurant reservations. Valeria was so cold and rude. She literally rolled her eyes at me. I was feeling terrible physically and emotionally and she made me feel so much worse. I went back to my room and cried after this encounter.

The food is always the same at the buffet, and never changes nightly, and to find entertainment,you actually have to look for it off of the entertainment wall, which is kinda hidden around the corner.
On a positive note, it was nice to access all three hotels on that resort with the VIP status. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a blast at the Bahia for a week at the beginning of March! We pre-booked our a la cartes via the app before we arrived (we highly recommend you do this). The food and dining experiences were amazing! We enjoyed the Mikado experience, Tequila and the Grand Tortuga. We also went to the Fiesta Mexicana at the Hacienda where they had various food and drink stations which made for a very fun experience.
After a few days, we did the wristband upgrade. I will say this was VERY well worth it. We spent our afternoons at the Tulum Beach (as Cobas pool chairs do fill up fairly quickly. This isn't so much a resort problem as it is people "reserving seats" for hours on end while they aren't there.) We enjoyed the infinity pool and beach at Akumel one day (their snack bar there is 10/10!!!), and went to Sian Khan and Tulum for pre-dinner drinks.
Staying at Coba was totally fine, but we did prefer spending our time at the other resorts throughout the day. If you are really interested in a BEACH trip, I highly recommended booking at Tulum or simply doing the wristband upgrade. There is always lots of space available there.
One final note for Coba: we stumbled upon the Daquiri bar which was our favourite spot to go during the evening. It has a lovely outdoor space that you can enjoy for a quiet drink. Most people gathered in the main lobby or around the show.
All in all. It was a great trip. The food at these resorts is fantastic!! We will definitely book again!

This is our 3rd time staying at Coba, and everytime it keeps getting better and better. This was probably one of my favorite trips so far. We came with a lot of people 18 to be exact including 8 children. The staff is super friendly.
Entertainment around the pool is amazing and super friendly (Eder, Jonathan, Octavio) only names I remembered but they were ALL great!! My boys loved going to the teens club. Jose was the best!! My son was super sad to leave. Overall Coba is a great place to stay. Food is great, rooms are a little outdated but clean, friendly staff. 10/10

Bahia Principe Grand Coba was an excellent all inclusive. The buffet had good food, and the a la carte restaurants were excellent. Staff was friendly, efficient, and made the stay much more enjoyable.

Wonderful stay! First time back after 8 years and they have a done a great job keeping the place in great shape. The hospitality, entertainment crew and food was great. Will go back again.
