"Het bankweekendje van de vakantie hier.Asan de eigenaar ging boven en verder om ons welkom te voelen.Niets was te veel problemen.Helaas was de binnenzwembad uit de actie, maar het kon de buitenzwembad die mooi was.zuiver, zeer vriendelijk en zal zeker weer bezoeken.het was mijn tweede verblijf hier en echt niet wilde naar huis ....."

"The rooms were very dated and the shower falling apart! We told them about the shower door and they said they'd sort it. They sorted on but broke the other so they didn't close properly. The whole building smelt of smoke."

Very clean and tidy and decor very nice, just a very relaxing and calm place to stay. Lovely, pretty little pool area with sunloungers. Would definitely recommend and stay again"

"Een andere fantastische verblijf op de Anchorage. We zijn net terug van onze familievakantie in Torquay. Het hotel was de perfecte basis om Babbacombe en de rest van Torbay te ontdekken. Een groot dank aan alle personeel die ongetwijfeld de beste bezittingen van de hotels zijn. Het hotel heeft een prachtig zwembad, koffiewinkel en bar. We hadden ontbijt, middagssnacks en avondmaals in het hotel en het eten was echt goed. Er is entertainment op de meeste nachten die onze jongere hield. Bedankt voor een andere geweldige vakantie."

"Eigenlijk wilde ik er even tussenuit, maar de sfeer beviel me niet, dus ik ben vertrokken. Het personeel was echter geweldig, de kamers waren schoon en ik kon vertrekken wanneer ik wilde. Er was ook livemuziek en de muzikant was goed. Er is een goede dansvloer."

"Wonderful 2 nachts break we hadden een superieure koning kamer mooi bed kamer was echt schoon en vervolgens douche kamer mooi schoon en comfortabel bed prachtig uitzicht naar de haven we namen 2 honden met ons, Steve was echt welkom we alleen maar woonden kamer maar hebben gebleven voor en ontbijt die ik echt aanbevelen de Griffin Bar hieronder is prachtig het personeel zijn allemaal vriendelijk en welkom ook zal zeker zijn, blijven daar weer, er is een goede, groene ruimte vlakbij het museum voor honden oefenen en een,korte wandeling naar de haven een goed comfortabel hotel zo een mooie verandering van de gebruikelijke corporate bland hotels"

Premier Inn Torquay Seafront

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Booked a premier plus room and found that my room was good. It was clean and a good size. I really liked the style of the building and the beer garden & terraces which is what made me book this hotel. Although, as i was looking around, i felt it was a shame that the upkeep on the premises wasn't really kept up to its full potential. The building itself is actually really beautiful but needs a new paint job. The grounds and terraces i felt wasnt looked after enough. Some more plants and landscaping need attention. Rubbish not being picked up and random old umbrellas just lying on the floor rather than stored. Random old tables & chairs just scrapped but not hidden or disposed of. Just get rid of them all if you're not using them, its making you look lazy. Not only that, it's not a great sight to look at out your bedroom windows. Have a tidy up and deep clean, then it will be better. I was thinking about doing it myself at one point. The tables in the restaurant were sticky. I found the service from all members of staff very good and they did work long days i noticed. They were all polite and friendly. Please pass on my thanks to them for their customer service. The food was also very nice and came to our table quickly. After all my points above, it wouldn't stop me from staying again. I liked it here. Just please tidy up. Its such a beautiful building. Thankyou for my stay"
