The room is not that clean. There are a lot of dust and I am allergic to that so it’s a hard time for me to sleep in the room plus the train’s sound is very loud.

I have always liked the Super Group very much. This time I went to Tokyo and chose this newly opened store in Kita District. The bed in the room is big, but the bathroom is still small. Itabashi Center Hotel is along the highway, across from Itabashi Kuyakushomae Station (Mito line), and a half mile walk from Oyama Station (Tobu Tojo line). I chose this hotel because it is near Oyama, an area I lived part-time in during the early 1990s. So I came back to see it thirty years later. The hotel is a typical understated business hotel. Check in was easy and my room on the fourth floor is fine. It’s not large and is most comfortable for solo travelers. The location is near the highway and there is a bit of noise, but I slept well and didn’t notice it. The view out my window is the wall of the neighboring building. Perfect because it is quieter than those that may be fronting the highway. Shower is warm, bed is comfortable, and my floor is quiet. And the cost is quite reasonable for Tokyo. Visitors to Japan may prefer to stay in the more touristy areas, but for people who know their way around Tokyo, this is an inexpensive, yet comfortable place to stay for business in the area beyond Ikebukuro. I enjoyed my stay.

Very good value for money hotel. The passageway in the first double bed room I was assigned was relatively narrow, making it really difficult to carry a medium-sized suitcase. Although the hotel front desk staff initially said that the hotel was fully booked and it would be difficult to arrange a room change, they still worked hard to help me find one. Then I found another room with double beds, but the passage was wider, so I was very satisfied with the front desk service. The hotel is clean and tidy overall. The shower room is spacious and rare in Japan. It is not the kind of bathroom that contains a box. There are a variety of daily necessities at the front desk for guests to pick up, and all basic needs are provided. The breakfast selection is quite rich and the quality is good. The restaurant is small but the environment is very comfortable. The location is very good. It's only a two- to three-minute walk from Akabane. It's easy to find, and food and shopping can be found nearby. Akaban Station’s rail network is also very convenient! The only thing that needs to be considered is that, as mentioned in other reviews of Steamed Fish, the small street where the hotel is located has many entertainment venues. If you are a single girl returning home at night, it may be a bit scary - although I have seen quite a few girls staying there! The overall accommodation experience is very satisfactory. If the price is at this level next time I go to Tokyo, I will consider staying here again.
