Castello Izzalini Todi Resort

"Gianna ontmoette haar kort maar ze leek erg aardig. Het appartement was heel schoon en goed georganiseerd. Ik was bijzonder blij met een verstelbare thermostaat om de hitte te controleren. Reizen in de winter vind ik mezelf gedwongen om vensters te openen om de kamer te koelen, maar dit was zeer gemakkelijk en betrouwbaar. Windows had prachtige uitzichten en interieur shutters om de kamer volledig te verduisteren - zelfs niet de vervelende rookdetector licht - beste slaap ooit! Dikke geluidsbestendige muren. Bed was 10/10. Zelfservice appartement met een lijst van schoorstenen. Controleer tussen 4-7 pm. Het paar heeft een week met RCI gehad en betaalde $117 belasting en “resort”-heffingen. Veel mooie steden om te bezoeken in 1-2 uur gingen we meestal naar Todi op een rustige 15 minuten rijden. Ik weet niet wat je zou doen zonder een auto - geen spa of trainingsruimte of iets."

"A very enjoyable stay ~ after we got there! Our flight into Rome was over an hour late due to unavoidable problems and consequently our rental car by Discover Cars was no longer available so we had to rent on the spot costing us two and a half times what was planned. That was a bad start but once on the road we put in the address on our GPS and about an hour and a half got off at the Todi exit. Somehow we ended up driving (following our GPS) all over the area without any luck. We finally found a 'saint' that called the hotel and they arranged to meet us just outside of Todi promising to send someone to guide us to the property. We finally arrived, got settled, had a wonderful meal and were able to get to sleep. The evening meal was very good but somewhat limited for a vegetarian. Breakfast had an excellent variety of foods. We were very thankful for the staffs willingness to come and 'find' us or we'd never found the hotel. We had expected it to be a little closer to the town of Todi but it all worked out. The property certainly has all the 'old world' charm, and all the staff were most helpful. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The drive to Todi was about 10 minutes and having your own transportation would be necessary to stay here. A lovely place and I'd definitely stay again."

"The staff were excellent and considerate. Perfect location and extremely clean. In addition the hotel provided an easy and comfortable atmosphere were we could relax and enjoy the amenities such as the pool which was placed in a tranquil area of the hotels gardens."

Borgo Petroro

"Wonderful quiet place to stay in the countryside but near to lovely villages in Umbria. It is very close to Todi, which is lovely, also beautiful villages like Spello and Montecalco are a must see! Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The borgo was really lovely, very clean, comfortable, quiet, and the staff was so helpful and kind. The restaurant had fabulous food, sort of Michelin restaurant style, and the wait staff were excellent. The pool was not open yet, and too cold for the outdoor dining patio, but would looked like it would be fabulous when the weather is warmer. But the indoor dining was elegant and a real delight. Also a great place to go if you don't want a touristy spot, and you want quiet and beautiful surroundings."

"Lovely hotel for a few days. Staff were great, and Breakfast was excellent . Great location, just outside the walls of Todi. Rooms were clean, and Towels changed every day. It was very warm and humid nights. did not know how to switch on the aircon should gave asked at reception never mind. "
