"We hebben 2 nachten in de hut gebleven. Het is zeer gemakkelijk om de pub in het dorp te vinden met een ruime parkeerplaats achter. Er zijn een paar mooie landelijke wandelingen dichtbij door het te geven een rustige locatie. Het gastvrijheid en service waren geweldig. Verkijkend personeel. Niets was te veel verontrustend. Ontbijt keuze was geweldig, iets voor iedereen. Een keuze van granen, sap en gekoeld ontbijt. Ik eet niet rood vlees en soms ben ik vrij beperkt wat ik kan hebben, maar er waren een goede reeks opties voor mij. We hebben ook ons avondmaaltijd op beide nachten hier gegeten. Nog een grote keuze van maaltijden op het menu. De kwaliteit van het eten was uitstekend. We hebben in sommige hotels gestopt waar het eten nergens zo goed was als de Hatch. Ik zou iedereen graag willen blijven en eten. Bedankt voor een mooi paar dagen."

"On arrival we were met by Caroline and Simon who both were very friendly and made us feel very welcome!! We were shown to room 3 which was homely and comfortable. We then took a lovely cold beer out into the garden to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. We ate dinner both nights if our stay, the food was very plentiful and delicious! The breakfast was also very tasty and well presented. We had an amazing time and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts to ensure you had a pleasant stay. We are looking forward to our next visit!"

Greenham Hall

"I love an English occupier run B&B and Greenham Hall did not disappoint. The welcome was so warm, the property is stunning, beds comfy, rooms spacious, curtains when closed block out the light. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home made damson jam. We enjoyed the fresh coffee and orange juice. The hostess Caro gives a very warm welcome and was very hospitable, flexible and also an interesting and accomplished woman. It is also very reasonably priced. We would love to return when we are next in the area."

The Greyhound Inn

"I'm a fussy bugger and I was very happy with the evening I had there. Food is slightly more expensive than it should be, People pay £34 for a steak, seriously? Still I had the pork belly and very nice it was indeed although again £24 is a bit OTT. I cannot deny it was very enjoyable well cooked with a decent sauce. Observations given the price. The mashed potato was beautifully done, The sauce was very tasteful although very thin and as such could have done with more of it, The gravy boat had no handle and was almost impossible to touch because of the heat, yeah it looked neat but function defines form yes? The vegetables were tiny but again pleasantly cooked if a mite bland, I needed something else to give a bit of texture. Might I strongly strongly suggest you consider all the possibilities a decent sized piece of black pudding has to offer to accompany. The presentation was just piled up, that needs work. But yes the star of the show was the pork and that was gorgeous and as a large man sufficient in quantity which is rare for me. It was good enough that I wanted to take the time to recommend it here. Still again for the price, more gravy a few more veg and a decent crispy slice of black pudding nom nom. My friend had the venison chorizo burger, But spent his meal looking at mine."

"Mijn man en ik moesten in de Wellington-zone wonen en we vonden The Old Dairy bij bisschop Barton. We waren zo blij dat we het gedaan. Liz was een geweldige gastheer, onze accommodaties waren zo comfortabel en schoon en groot! De gronden en tuinen waren geweldig. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Ik zou het zeer aanbevelen voor een verblijf in prachtige Sumerset."
