I Citri

Very beautiful apar**ent on the sixth floor of a stylish building, a few streets away from the beautiful sea side boulevard. The apar**ent was very spacious and the location excellent. We had two big rooms to our disposal and a communal space to relax in. The spring mattress however was not comfortable at all. And although the bathroom was very beautiful, I would have preferred a shower in stead of a bath tub. I didn't even try washing my long hair when we stayed at I Citri, it was just not practical. The airco was excellent, but the wifi was very slow. Breakfast was minimal: we each got two slices of white bread with ham and lots of mayo between them and a croissant with nutella or marmelade and some yoghurt. We were happy that the second breakfast the lady added some grapes. Glad to have something different thrown in the mix. The elevator in the apar**ent building was really very small. If you don't like cramped spaces, don't take the elevator. We mostly took the stairs when we stayed at I Citri. I Citri does not offer a parking space, but we had no problems finding a parking space close to the apar**ent building. Be warned though, you have to pay for parking in the streets of Taranto.

FIRSTLY THIS IS A CONVERTED 3 BEDROOM APPAR**ENT IN A BLOCK OF FLATS IN A RUN DOWN STREET IN TARANTO,THE ROOM WAS OK HOWEVER DUE TO THE VERY STRONG SMELL OF CLEANING PRODUCTS ON THE BED LINEN AND IN THE ROOM ITS SELF CAUSED AN ALLERGIC REACTION. THE BREAKFAST THAT I WAS OFFFERD WAS ONLY A COFFEE AND ONE CAKE NOT WHAT WAS MADE OUT TO BE OFFERED ON THE BOOKING THE CLEANING LADY WAS POLITE BUT I WOULD STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

We booked 50 metres squared private suite. However, the living room which is approximately 30 metres squared is shared with another apar**ent. We only discovered this when we found other people having breakfast in what we thought was our area! Half the lights in the apar**ents do not work. Especially in the bathroom. The internet was very poor in the area of our apar**ent. There was no electric kettle and tea/coffee maker. The Spa Bath did not work. The listing also states that "Apar**ents also include a balcony, a living area and a kitchenette.". This is not true. The listing also shows that parking is available at the premises, however this is not true. You have to park on the street in an area which required extra payment. Next to this, the owner has cancelled the booking half-way through our stay with the reason cited as "No Show". Presumably this was done so that we would not be able to leave our review via booking.

We visited Taranto in over the Chris**as holidays since it's very central to all the lovely villages in puglia. The room was amazing, very clean and very well equipped. We were a bit disappointed with Taranto as it's quite dirty and the parking all over the village is terrible at times it took us a good 30 mins to park. Pina was an amazing host to us, she made sure to welcome us and make sure our room was clean and assisted us everyday. She was really friendly and sweet plus the breakfast was very good. If you visit over new year day kindly not that all restaurants will be closed on the night and there was nothing to do on the night as everyone stays inside due to the fact that they fire fireworks from the balconies and we felt a bit unsafe to be outside. At least we had a lovely safe room to watch the fireworks from the balcony which was very nice. Thank you Pina you were brilliant!

Struttura molto accogliente pulita e ben arredata. La proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. La governante Pina, oltre ad essere una persona eccellente disponibile educata e molto simpatica ci ha coccolato in tutto. Ci torneremo. Stefania e Giuliano

Ottima accoglienza con personale professionale, posto ideale per una coppia pulito e ben organizzato, vicinissimo al centro, in una zona dove puoi trovare facilmente tutti i servizi utili alla permanenza in stanza. Consigliatissimo se si vuole passare del tempo con la propria compagna/o e godersi il centro di Taranto.

Tutto perfetto come fossimo a casa. A pochi passi dal centro. Abbiamo pernottato con amici per 3 notti. La colazione veniva servita in camera dalla simpaticissima Pina adorabile intrattenitrice delle nostre mattinate. Una pecca (ma non colpevolizzo la struttura) e la difficoltà di trovare parcheggio. Dal nostro piano meravigliosa vista mare❤️ Tornerò a maggio.

Il B&B è situato strategicamente fra lungomare e centro! Inoltre è a due minuti dall' Ospedale Santissima Annunziata di Taranto! Ho rilevato estrema pulizia ed ambiente confortevole! La gentilezza della Governante "Pina" non ha eguali! Una perfetta figura professionale! Lo consiglio e voto il massimo ❤️

Super consigliato per trascorrere qualche notte a pochi passi dal centro di Taranto. Complimenti per la professionalità e cordialità dimostrata durante il nostro soggiorno dalla governante Pina, molto educata e professionale.
