"We stayed 2 nights whilst our son and son in law ran in the Manchester Marathon. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel/tram line. We found the position of the hotel handy for catching the tram into the city and for local eateries in the evening. We walked to Bella Italian the first evening then to the pub next door the second evening, we highly recommend the latter, carvery is superb. Our hotel room was clean and bed was comfy, traffic noise was pretty bad, boy racers revving up and roaring up and down! Staff are friendly. Please get your cleaners to clean between the vending machine and the wall in reception, it's full of cobwebs and dead insects!"
