Nice hotel right on the Balaton embankment with its own marina and wellness center. Beautiful quiet environment, but very far from the city center and also from the main promenade. But the peace and quiet is excellent. The rooms are small, one side of the bed is almost against the wall and it was difficult to reach it, weak heating in the spring, it was cold in the room, a disproportionately large bathroom but with a very small shower where the average person had trouble showering. Our bathroom smelled of sewage. Wellness with a large swimming pool with a little cold water and a whirlpool with quite dirty water, which is adjacent to the children's pool. I was not very impressed with the wellness, I was expecting better equipment. Breakfast and dinner deliciously cooked, even if breakfast is still the same and evenings are often repetitive. The problem was that, despite the large number of staff, they did not have time to replenish the food and there was often a problem with an empty buffet. The restaurant and bar staff had trouble communicating in a language other than Hungarian, but they were still very nice. The same goes for the staff in the wellness area. The only good English speaker was the reception. Despite the high price and 4*, this hotel should be presented as 3*, because the services and facilities did not correspond to 4*.

This a very good hotel , even for families, to visit Balaton lake. It has a bog private parking outside in the front, a big yard in the back and a lot of facilities for kids. Indoor and outdoor pool available. They are not big, but plenty of space for both kids and adults. There is also a beachfront on the lake with access through the yard, where you can benefit of hotel coverage. Rooms are rather the small type with minimalistic furnishing. There is a balcony with chairs and table so you can extend your time on the fresh air. Hotel is part of the Danubius chain.

Hotel 5 stelle aperto da pochissimo. Direi che ha rispettato tutte le nostre aspettative. Location perfetta vista lago raggiungibile in pochi minuti. Struttura moderna arredata con gusto sia l'interno che il dehor. Camera spaziosa e biancheria da letto ottima, materasso e cuscini molto comodi. Doccia spaziosa e soffione fantastico. Welness molto confortevole e soprattutto funzionale. Angolo bambini una favola. Colazione e cena eccezionali. Merita sicuramente una vacanza. P.s biciclette elettriche comode ed efficienti per percorsi nei dintorni molto ben segnalati con piste ciclabili meravigliose.

Besides fresh towells, nothing. No cleaning was made in the room. We had to stay in squalor; we were in a hotel where we payed others for acomodation, to be kept clean. We were not at home where we have broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, etc; I've asked at the reception how many times a week they clean the room? They answered ” Daily” I'm sorry but that is a lie; The receptionist told me that he'll send someoane to clean right away but I've told him that we just arrived and we want to rest, and to send someone tomorrow after breakfast when we were out 6-7 hours during the day; nothing happend; in the 4th day came the cleaning lady and cleaned the room but it was to late because the next day we were gone - water temperature in the piscine 28 dgr C; good if you want to swim as a sport, to be in shape; but if you go with a small child (4-5 years old the child is cold, and shivers; that's what happened to our child) Conclusion: I would go there again

From the photos and location this hotel really looks the business. Please don’t be fooled like we where. I pride myself on being an adept researcher and avid traveller. I stay in 5* hotels, air bnb’s, and everything inbetween. This hotel though takes the cake!!! I should have known by the checkin experience something was a miss.... the grumpiest checkin person ever, probably not suited for customer facing posts. We arrived for our 2pm checkin early, asked if we could use the facilities (pool) whilst we waited for our room to become available, to which they obliged. However they informed us our room wouldn’t be available until 3:30pm because it was busy season and they hadn’t cleaned all the rooms yet. It was then up to me the customer to pull out my booking form which clearly states 2pm checkin with two tired kids in tow. I had emailed our children’s dietary requirements in advance as to make the process go smoothly. I can’t stress how under provided for they where - let’s just say gluten free bread was their main meal (and due to incomprehensible labelling system, we almost got sick!) usually hotels b&b’s etc. prepare a simple meal of say grilled chicken, rice and vegetables on an individual plate - the really good ones talk to me when we arrive and ask about the preferences etc. because of the risk of cross contamination on a buffet - these guys didn’t have a CLUE!!! We finally got our room serviced at 6pm!!!! Oh and no new bulbs 💡 Day 3 up early again, appalling breakfast - very little assistance (thankfully there where fruit and vegetable options) asked for room to be cleaned at 9am, also asked for bulbs to be changed. Return back at 1pm -

After reading the negative comments I was a bit scared to go there however we had no choice due to a family reunion and it was only one night. My experience was totally great in terms of the staff behavior, cleaning of the facilities, room conditions and the food. We booked a Deluxe room and both the furniture, the cleaning, the balcony were fine and the bathroom was well equipped. I loved the lavender items too. Food was good for us, huge buffet tables for dinner and breakfast as well. The restaurant was crowdy but this is summer vacation time. The lake view from our balcony was beautiful. The room price was high but this is the price level of Balaton in August. But the price of drinks and food were not higher than anywhere else of this category. I don’t know how the cheaper rooms are but Deluxe is good. The only negative experience is the check out time at 10.00 AM, the breakfast lasts only until 10.00 and all bars and restaurant close at 10.00 PM. This is not very guest-friendly in a resort hotel.

Very characteristic country villa, a family of three lived in the attic, it felt like entering the Hobbit's small house, very fairy tale. The room is very hygienic and the facilities are very textured. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I saw a solid pig, so cute. The breakfast is really rich and the quality is very high! There are three large yards, spacious and rustic restaurants, and an open-air swimming pool. The price is in Europe in August, and the price is really good!
