Fairfield Inn Boston Sudbury

I think my only concern was there was barely ever anyone at the front desk. We tried to talk to someone to check out and no one was around. I think it's important to see a friendly face whether going in or out. Or even to ask a question. The room was nice and clean. The price was more than all of the surrounding hotels... don't understand why. Overall it was fine.

The plumbing in the bath/shower was barely attached; it was not secured enough to shut the shower off without moving all the fixtures. Not was it caulked. The bath was an insert the was so cheap it deflected downward when I stepped in, and I am not a heavy person. There was an odor about the doorway of the room that reminded me of sweaty locker rooms, I do not know where it was coming from. If it had come further into the suite I would have asked to be moved. The breakfast was the same as another Fairfield I recently stayed at. The “sausage” was rubbery enough to vulcanize a tire, the eggs from powder and gritty, even making your own waffles turned out glutinously rubber-like. The oatmeal was okay if you added the missing dash of salt, and the pastries were okay toasted but quite stale.

Your front desk person, Kevin was very friendly. The room was very nice. I especially liked the under the counter and sink night light in the bathroom.

Great hotel. Big rooms. Great service! Comfortable beds. Tasty full breakfast. Will be back!

Pleasant quiet room and very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast facilities and offerings very marginal…

First night the elevator was not working. First day my room was not cleaned. Other than that, it was comfortable and service was good.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful…beyond wonderful. Staff, rooms, cleanliness, breakfast…zero complaints.

First time staying at Fairfield, pleased with the comfort and cleanliness. Also it was very conveniently located and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again when in the area.

I was extremely shocked at my experience with the Fairfield Inn. I had pre-paid for two nights at the hotel through ******* and arrived around 10 PM although check-in was 3 PM . When I got there, I was informed that they had sent me an email around 5 PM letting me know that my room was not available ( which I did not see until I arrived at the hotel ) and that they told me today had booked a room for me in Framingham which is at least 20 minutes away. When I got to the hotel, I had been driving for 8 1/2 hours and I really did not appreciate finding out at the last minute that I did not have a room. I was exhausted and ready to get into bed that minute. That night , I ended up staying with my family In the meantime, I was assured that they did have a room for me the following night, and that it would be complementary. When I arrived the following night, there was no record of my having a room. I had to speak to the person at the desk at great length who then had to go speak with her manager. It took a lot of time and effort . When I finally got to the room , there was a strong odor that smelled like BO. I then had to call to request another room. Having had ridiculous experiences two nights in a row, would be very hesitant to ever stay at this hotel again. I am still completely shocked at the lack of correct records and a cavalier attitude for service.
