"I really loved my stay The Allan Park. Such a nice cozy homie place. Very spacious room that has everything you need, staff is really helpful and friendly, cozy lounge room with a fireplace. The only thing I would suggest adding is the hook on a bathroom door for a towel. Would love to stay here in future and highly recommend for anyone."

"Our host, Laura, was very pleasant and kind. Upon arrival we were shown all around the home and given some tidbits on the walking to town center or stirling castle. Our room was lower level, so you don’t have to use front door ( with steps) to get to your room, there is a side entrance with no steps to get to the two rooms down there. Our room was modest, but very clean and up to date. The bathroom was spacious and clean with towels, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion for use. There was also a hair dryer for use in the vanity. A tray with teas, coffees and biscuits was also a nice touch to the room. The patio right outside of the room is nice to sit out on in the evenings. Breakfast is good. You can have cereals , fresh fruit, and buns with juice ahead of ordering a hot breakfast. Laura will make to order eggs, bacon, haggis and fresh homemade toast also porridge. Her brown toast is delicious! She does like a specific time of when you plan on eating breakfast the evening before. I think it’s to prevent everyone getting there at once and it’s only her cooking and hosting. However, we found breakfast to be tasty and quick with no hassles at all. We didn’t walk into to town, but did walk to Stirling Castle with only a ten minute walk. Also the beheading stone is a 15 minute walk away also. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations in Stirling and will come back when in Stirling again. Thank you Laura !!"

Our room no.2 was large, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast day one was full Scottish and filled the spot, day two breakfast was Eggs Benedict Mmmm! We had an evening meal which was very tasty, Venison Stew. Book direct and online for a good price…"

I called the host later and without hesitation told me there was no availability, I enquired about the next available date close to our enquiry and again without hesitation told me she has no availability and then hung up the phone. I really don’t understand with an attitude like that why you would be in hospitality"

"Zeer slechte ontvangst bij die van Aberfoyle!!! - Receptie: na een aantal uren rijden om bij het hotel te komen, wilden we alleen maar eten en ontspannen. We komen aan om in te checken en de receptioniste Emilia vertelt ons dat ik er over 5 minuten ben! (geen hallo, alsjeblieft of andere beleefde woorden!) Ze arriveert na 15 minuten !!!!!! zonder zich te verontschuldigen en heel kortaf tegen ons te spreken (we beseffen dat ze helemaal niet blij is) vragen we haar naar de ontbijttijden, ze antwoordt ons uh, eerst moet ik je visakaart hebben. (nog steeds op een echt niet coole toon). ze checkt ons in door de sleutels en onze kaarten ruw op de toonbank te slaan, - Restaurant: De obers waren ook niet vriendelijk, nee hallo, de maaltijd was echt van slechte kwaliteit, dat vind ik zo beschamend voor een normaal 4 * hotel! Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we verschillende hotels en b&b bezocht en ik kan u verzekeren dat we eenvoudig maar hartelijk zijn ontvangen en dat de kwaliteit van de producten uitstekend was. Wat een contrast! Wij zijn zo blij om naar dit hotel te komen gezien de voorzieningen en de omgeving; Ik zal er zeker niet meer terugkomen en ik zal het niet aanbevelen! -Ontbijt: De volgende dag toen je wakker werd, opnieuw een grote teleurstelling, hoe kan ik je vertellen dat het leeg was. Persoonlijk vind ik dat het uiterlijk het beste dit hotel definieert. Op het eerste gezicht is het heel mooi, de omgeving is groen, het interieur is heel elegant. De kamers zijn ruim, maar dat is alles. -De hygiëne van de kamer was redelijk."
