"What a lovely very clean hotel this is , the staff Maria , Demitri and Steff are lovely friendly people that can’t do enough for you , Steff that runs the bar is lovely and the cocktails are just amazing , the best I’ve ever had especially the strawberry mojito ❤️😉 the rooms are spotless and cleaned every other day with fresh towels . The area is very quiet with some tavernas around but we wanted a quiet holiday so for us it’s perfect , I have fallen in love with Crete and the people here ❤️ I will be back , thank you all at the Thalassi Hotel x oh the breakfast is spot on , I had a typical fry every day which was all fresh with bacon egg sausage beans, different bread cakes, yoghurt, cereals, coffee, fruit juices I certainly didn’t go hungry it was lovely x"

"​Onze verblijf in dit boutique strandhotel in de buurt van Rethymno was niets minder dan spectaculair. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we getroffen door de ongelooflijk rustige locatie en de rustige, vreedzame opstelling van het gebouw. Als u op zoek bent naar een rustige poort waar u echt kunt ontspannen aan de zee, is dit de perfecte plek. ​De kamers zijn prachtig gerenoveerd, modern en schoon. Een enorme schreeuw naar de schoonmaakdames, die ongelooflijk mooi, warm waren en alles in de gevangenis hield gedurende onze verblijf. ​Wat dit hotel echt afscheidt, is echter de uitzonderlijke, gepersonaliseerde gastvrijheid. De eigenaar Manolis gaat boven en verder om elke vraag met een glimlach te beantwoorden. Zijn toewijding aan zijn gasten is onverenigbaar. En vlakbij de bar, Sifis de barman was een absoluut plezier te praten met en altijd het mixen van geweldige dranken met een fantastische houding. ​ De combinatie van een verbazingwekkende locatie, flauweloze kamers, en een team dat je als familie behandelt, maakte ons verblijf onvergetelijk. We kunnen de Egeïsche Beeld niet hoog genoeg aanbevelen en zijn al dromen van ons volgende bezoek!"

"Spent a relaxing week, at this smaller hotel. This created a very peaceful atmosphere. Every where was so clean and tidy. Food was delicious and plentiful. Rooms were spacious, the sea view and sunsets were so beautiful. All the staff go above and beyond to help make your stay a very happy memory. My only criticism, is no hand sanitizer around or in the restaurant. I witnessed several people coming out the WC without washing hands."
