"We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience. First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level. I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure. A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised. Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel."

"De hygiëne is erg goed en de servicegerichtheid is ook goed. We verbleven 6 dagen in de clubkamer. Clubkamer met ontbijtbuffet. Er is eten en drinken in de club op de 5e verdieping van 7.00-20.00 uur. Er is een café op de eerste verdieping en een Japans restaurant is ook goed. Er is een poké-winkel in het naastgelegen ilikai-hotel, dat goed smaakt. Het strand ligt op 15 minuten lopen. Niet aan te raden als je graag naar het strand gaat. Het winkelcentrum Waikiki ligt op 20 minuten lopen. Ik rij meestal op de roze lijn en heb een JCB-creditcard, zodat ik gratis kan rijden. Drankjes en hapjes: 2 Hawaïaanse bieren van de tap, rode en witte wijn. Cola, thee, Honolulu-koffie, enz. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar er zijn niet veel mensen. Het hotel in Waikiki ligt relatief dichtbij de luchthaven, waardoor u niet door de file hoeft. Het winkelcentrum Alamoana ligt op 10 minuten lopen. Supermarkt Donquijote (donki) ligt op 15 minuten lopen (de prik is hier heerlijk en goedkoop). Het wordt aanbevolen om naar Hawaï te vliegen met het ANA A380-vliegtuig, een groot vliegtuig van 2 verdiepingen. Het schildpadvliegtuig is zo schattig."

"De locatie is erg goed, maar er vinden renovatiewerkzaamheden beneden plaats, waardoor er veel stof en ongedierte is. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar je kunt je bagage niet langer dan een dag, slechts een paar uur, achterlaten. Het is voor ons wat lastig om te gaan eilandhoppen en dan terug te keren naar het hotel. Al met al zouden we een betere optie moeten kunnen vinden."

"Very clean, great service. The staff are always helpful, smiling and friendly. They give good advice on tourist attractions and local shops to visit. I only ever stay here when I visit Honolulu."

"We hebben een heel leuk verblijf gehad in Hotel La Croix, het ligt op loopafstand van het strand. Toen we daar voor het eerst aankwamen, hadden we gevraagd of we mogelijk een kamer met uitzicht konden krijgen en kregen we aanvankelijk te horen dat onze aanvankelijk toegewezen kamer zich op het lagere niveau bevond en uitzicht op de constructie had. Manager bood aan om ons tegen een vergoeding te upgraden naar een kamer op een hogere verdieping. Het heeft een heel mooi uitzicht op het strand, maar omdat de kamer 2 ramen heeft, is de andere kant nog steeds een constructie-uitzicht. Bedden zijn comfortabel en de kamer heeft alles wat we nodig hebben. Vanwege de upgrade hadden we toegang gekregen tot de Monkey Pod-kamer, die gratis mineraalwater, ingeblikte drankjes en snacks verstrekte. Over het algemeen hadden we een aangenaam verblijf daar. Ik heb niet van het zwembad kunnen genieten, maar het is ook leuk dat het hotel een ABC-winkel beneden heeft en 's ochtends gratis koffie in de lobby."

"I had a wonderful stay here. Every morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a view of the lagoon and the ocean — it was absolutely beautiful. The building is a bit dated, but it is undergoing renovations, and even so, the property has five swimming pools, a lagoon, and easy beach access, which I really appreciated. One downside was that I was assigned a room in the Rainbow Tower with a connecting door. The noise from the neighboring room came through very clearly, almost as if it were in my own room, and the soundproofing was poor due to the connecting door. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main Waikiki area, which felt a little far but still manageable on foot. Overall, I really enjoyed the facilities, the pools, and especially the lagoon."

"We stayed at the one of the Historic Banyan King Room with City View for 4 nights, room was conveniently located in the main building, doesn’t come with a balcony, but has 2 windows. It gets noisy sometimes at night even though we stayed on the 4th floor. The resort also offers a list of cultural and wellness activities for booking, this is where the resort fee goes to, so make sure you book some of these activities if time permits. Overall we liked the hotel as it’s at the center of Waikiki and has direct access to the beach, several great restaurants and you can also pre-order Honolulu Coffee for pick-up at the hotel location."

"Apart from being given a room with two double beds, not a queen, it was all good. No cockroach like we saw in other hotels."

"Hawaï is erg oud, bijna net als China in de jaren 90, dus de hotels moeten toen luxueus geweest zijn. Nu is het gewoon dezelfde oude managementstijl, zonder enige renovatie. Het personeel is over het algemeen behoorlijk arrogant. Denk niet eens aan het ontbijt in dit hotel, tenzij het gratis is, dan hoef je er niet voor te betalen. We verbleven er zes dagen en aten elke dag twee keer hetzelfde. Het waren echt twee verschillende dingen. Parkeren bij het hotel is erg duur, maar er is gratis parkeergelegenheid aan de overkant van de straat. Over het algemeen kwam ik naar Hawaï omdat het leuk klonk, maar het is een wereld van verschil met Sanya in China. Verwacht er niet te veel van. Gewoon mijn persoonlijke mening."

"Location was great. Service wise was soooooooo bad. My guest wanted to extend his stay. The person we talked to was nothing helpful at all. His attitude was not the nicest and sounded disingenuous. I couldn’t catch his name too well coz he spoke so fast when I asked for his name - Noah or Noiah?  Please consider changing a more suitable person to help your customers with their needs. Maybe it’s good to look at his gifts / skills and place him somewhere else for the benefit of your hotel. The call with this service staff was extremely unpleasant. Will not consider Hyatt Place again."
