For the adventurer, you are walking distance to a trailhead to backcountry hiking on world class hiking trails of the GSMNP. After kayaking and fishing in the water or exploring the wilderness, you can grill out in your private backyard, reflect with wine on the dock, or tell stories by the fire pit. The house can only accommodate up to two adults and two kids, with a queen bed, and two stackable twin beds, and a queen-size sleeper sofa. Full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, heat/AC, elevated screened porch for fantastic lake views over breakfast, and a beautiful bifold glass door downstairs that opens directly to the private lake. To help you enjoy the gas-motor free lake, there is a Jon boat with electric trolling motor, kayaks (one two seater with one additional kid seat that can be added, and two kid kayaks for a total of 3 kayaks). There are games, books, and 3 Smart TVs for those times you choose to stay inside in front of the fire. The cottage sits on the Lake in the Sky and offers all of the modern conveniences needed to get away but stay connected.
