"Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning. 1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use. 2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical. 3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom. 4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved. 5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night. 6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating. 7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup. On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved. The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations."

"This the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant."

"De locatie is fantastisch, pal achter het Dutch Red House en direct aan de rivier. De meeste belangrijke bezienswaardigheden liggen vlakbij en 's avonds kun je heerlijk over Jonker Street slenteren. In het weekend is het gebied autovrij en volledig autovrij, perfect voor een ontspannen wandeling. Je kunt ook langs de rivier naar Spice Quay lopen en dan met de boot terug. Wij waren toevallig getuige van een levendig evenement met zang- en dansvoorstellingen die tot laat in de avond duurden. Dankzij onze gunstige locatie konden we alles meemaken."

"Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf gehad in ibis Melaka! Het hotel is schoon, modern en zeer goed onderhouden. De locatie is uitstekend – op loopafstand van Jonker Street en andere belangrijke bezienswaardigheden, maar toch rustig genoeg voor een ontspannen nachtrust. De kamer was comfortabel, met knusse bedden, goede airconditioning en alle essentiële voorzieningen die je van een internationale hotelketen mag verwachten. Het personeel was vriendelijk, professioneel en altijd bereid om te helpen met routebeschrijvingen of lokale aanbevelingen. Het ontbijt bood een goede variatie aan zowel lokale als westerse opties, en de eetzaal was licht en aangenaam. Parkeren was gemakkelijk en de wifi-verbinding was gedurende het hele verblijf stabiel. Al met al biedt ibis Melaka een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding – perfect voor zowel vakantie- als zakenreizigers die op zoek zijn naar een betrouwbare en comfortabele plek om te verblijven in het hart van Melaka. Een echte aanrader!"
