We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. 經常去九華山和黃山山下的各種民宿調劑生活。 這家民宿挺新的，是乾淨漂亮的，房間景色也不錯！但是周圍的村子，環境一般，就是很普通的農村，酒店有一個泳池和一點草坪，沒啥其他的，適合成人，不太適合帶孩子的家庭，所以我們早上就退房去景點了… 餐飲呢，餐廳景色很好，至於食物，我們衹吃了酒店提供的早餐，衹能説很普通吧，既不豐富，也不夠當地特色。 服務就還還行吧，跟快捷酒店差不多的服務吧，缺少民宿應有的舒心感受～

Het ligt aan de voet van de berg Jiuhua, op 20 minuten rijden, tussen de provinciehoofdstad en de berg Jiuhua. Tegenover het Yanqi Lake Reservoir is de locatie uitstekend en direct ter zake. Het interieur en de hardware zijn redelijk goed. Het decoratiepatroon is in Scandinavische stijl, gecombineerd met decoratie in Zen-stijl. Het bevindt zich tenslotte onder de Jiuhua-berg. De lobby is erg groot, waar je kunt kletsen rond het vuur of kunt zingen bij KTV. Films kijken op het gigantische scherm in de lobby is erg cool. De kamer is erg groot, met grote ramen van vloer tot plafond en als je de gordijnen opendoet, zie je groene bergen en groen water. Het bed is enorm, Amerikaans standaard slim toilet, Xiaomi smart TV met groot scherm. Toen ik 's ochtends wakker werd, hoorde ik het fluiten van de vogels in het bos. Terwijl ik door de binnenplaats liep, omringde prachtige lichte muziek mijn oren. Het enige nadeel is misschien dat het eten een beetje saai en zout is. Excellent service from the butler Mia... added us on wechat from checkin and its super convenient to request for items or ask for the free shuttle... just msg her! She also helped us contact the train station to find our lost bag and arranged for courier to the next hotel, all professionally handled and with a smile at all times... thanks to her we had an excellent 3days at JHS...

Very friendly hosts. Although not in the city centre, host provides transportation to /fro from huangshan mountain base. Clean and modern facilities. Impressive and functionable interior design. Gd breakfast.

The location of this so ideal for me. It was very peaceful and the room was facing the DiZhang Bodhisattva. I could do my prayer, meditation and connect with DiZhang Bodhisattva daily. The recption is friendly and helpful. The furnishing and the resort hotel facilities were old. The sound proof of the room was poor as you could hear some guests were talking and shouting. But luckily it was a low season. Local Chinese will flood these areas duing the Labor day (01-03 May) and their National day (01-07 Oct). Please avoid visiting duing these periods. High speed rail - Jiuhuashan station just completed. Use this station to access Jiuhuashan. Less than 30min to reach Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park (九华山大愿文化园). Highly recommend to stay around the 九华山风景区柯村新区.

We are very pleased with our last minute decision to stay one night at the foot of jiuhuashan. The hotel just recently opened but it beat our expectations. The room is very spacious, comfortable bed (it’s hard but we like the firmness), clean sheets, fluffy towels, free minibar, delicious breakfast and free and quick laundry!!! Highly recommend staying here. I’m willing to try other Atour hotels and I hope they are just as good.

We stayed for two nights. On the first day, we visited Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park, located at the foot of Mt. Jiuhua, before checking in to our hotel at the Jiuhua Street Scenic Area. The following day, we visited the key temples and explored Jiuhua Street. On the third day, we visited the Heavenly Terrace Scenic Area, specifically Tiantai Temple. We were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room to enhance accessibility for elderly guests, as well as their helpful advice on executing our plan. Also for arranging private transportation and providing pick-up/drop-off services. The only disappointment was the lack of variety at the breakfast buffet.

The ambiance is elegant, and the service is exceptional. This is the most satisfying hotel I've experienced on recent business trips and vacations within China. The manager and the butler Jiajia are absolutely central to its high recommendation. Jiuhua Mountain captivates the eye, but it's the genuine warmth of people like them that truly captures the heart. 环境优雅，服务特别好，是近期在国内商务出差旅游渡假住过最满意的一所酒店。经理和管家佳佳绝对是该处值得推介的一大理由，九华山很美，但人的风景更美！
