3-Starhotels in Multnomah County

.The hotel left a mixed impression. Despite the excellent reviews and not being the cheapest option, we were overall disappointed. Starting with the positives: A very convenient location in a pleasant, green, and quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. There are plenty of great cafés, small shops, restaurants, and wine bars nearby. Polite and friendly staff at the front desk. Interesting room design. Spacious parking available for hotel guests. Large rooms. Now the downsides: Thin walls and creaky floors made it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing is basically nonexistent. The young couple staying in the next room was clearly enjoying their time together, which unfortunately meant a very uncomfortable experience for us. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy — not only did it hum loudly when running, but it also made constant knocking sounds. The breakfast was exceptionally poor. The only “hot” items seemed to be the coffee and a dishwasher, which, oddly enough, was placed right in the middle of the breakfast area. There were two small TVs in the room, both positioned very inconveniently for viewing, and neither had streaming services available. The housekeeping staff was intrusive — within a 20-minute period, they knocked on the door three times (and even tried to open it once), apparently trying to hurry us out, even though it was still before checkout time.

The breakfast was excellent, clean and comfortable room, the location is perfect in Pearl District with good restaurants, bars, and supermarkets close to the hotel, but you have to pay extra for the parking lot

Location is good for catching an early flight home. We had several spider webs on the ceilings and the air conditioner in the window view was not mentioned at check-in.

I think this hotel should consider to change their Stars on the online platform. Hyaat name is also confusing, it doesn’t represent Hyaat quality although. Breakfast has very limited food! Windows are not possible to open to get fresh air, due to security they say, but even a little bit opening possibility would give a lot confidence peope like me who desperately need it for the health reason!

This hotel smells like Christmas morning because of the fireplaces and the scent diffusers, very cool feature I haven't seen anywhere else. Very nice front desk staff, windows that open, fireplaces, and despite an ongoing renovation there wasn't any chaotic banging / drilling or paint, they kept everything very professional. There are 3 different Marriot properties all next to each other in this area, this Residence, the Fairfield and the Courtyard. They all sort of share the same parking lot, it feels secure, although you get some loud cars coming through and this hotel is right off the highway exit, so some people complain about car noise. I didn't notice / mind it that much. For some reason the nightly rates went way up since I stayed here, from around $108 to now over $170 before taxes. At the initial rate, it was an amazing deal and the best Residence Inn by far. At this new price it's still a solid, very clean and professional hotel but I think it's priced too expensive relative to the amenities.

Let me start with cudos for Elizabeth at the front desk. I'd say she did everything in her control to make my stay excellent. GREAT customer service there. The van driver, however, made me feel unimportant. What????? We have to turn the van back around to return to the hotel to pick up a pilot? Even though you were late in picking me up and nearly making me late for my own connection? GACK! I'd say the company puts a lot of money into the lobby and the exterior. Sadly, once you step off the elevator, everything is a little shabby, torn and run-down. Perfect to lure in the traveler who won't be coming back.

Had a great visit for the 13-17 then stayed in Washington for a few days. Came back on the 19-20 and had the worst service in my life from an old grouchy rude lady named Raquel, the new girl Elisa was a sweet heart who she was training…. poor thing she will be trained by a woman like that! If I were u guys I would teach that lady customer service 101 before she teaches the new hires to be as rude as she was. I work on customer service and realize it ain’t easy but I also realize when people should not be in their roles, some advise demote until she’s is ready to be a supervisor

Ik zou dit als een hipster hotel beschrijven met een uniek karakter om het centrum te matchen. Ik voelde echter dat de kamer een beetje klein was, vooral de badkamer en de kamer zou kunnen gebruiken wat updates zoals meer voorzieningen zoals handdoeken en opslag voor bagage. Onze kamer was niet dichtbij, zodat foto's een beetje bedriegend kunnen zijn. Bed was comfortabel, maar ik hoorde mensen rondlopen boven ons kamer 's nachts. Ik heb ook gevochten met parkeerplaatsen gevonden het zeer stressvol om te proberen parkeerplaatsen, plan om ongeveer $40 per dag te besteden aan parkeerplaatsen per dag als je rondrijdt veel. De overnachtingsprijs die ongeveer 10-15 minuten loopafstand is niet op de locatie en is slechts $20 per nacht, maar het voelt niet veilig na 10 uur om rond te lopen vanwege het huisloze probleem in de omgeving. Ik denk niet dat ik terug naar dit hotel ga. Ik voel me niet als dit een 3-sterrenhotel was, ik zou het geven een 2.5 uit 4 of 5 sterren. Het ontbijt was een continentale op het beste. Pasta's met sap of koffie en vruchten. Soms leverden ze yoghurt of geboxeerde oatmeel en oatmelk, maar niets bijzonders en er komen voor 9 uur of er kan uit items. Portland heeft veel leuke dingen te zien, maar vanwege het huisloze probleem zou ik aanbevelingen voor de beste attracties en het duidelijke aantrekken van de problemen gebieden. Washington Park en kunstmuseum waren veel leuk om te bezoeken. Multnoah Falls zou een hele dag reis zijn en er zeer vroeg te komen omdat parkeerplaats is verschrikkelijk of parkeren off site en tram in. Ik werd ook een extra kosten van $25 per nacht die niet overal op de trip.com boekingsrecept vermeld.

I truly appreciated the help and service I received when I checked in at midnight. The receptionist’s dedication and the amazing environment made a deep impression on me. I love Portland, Oregon!🍀🌿🪴

It's a 3-star hotel, ok. But the location, comfort, and especially the service were outstanding. Can't ask for anything more...Oh, did I mention affordable?
