"The hotel is honestly overrated. Although it’s quite comfortable I wouldn’t have booked it if I knew they didn’t have hot springs inside, although it’s mentioned in description. Check in process was all online and quite smooth if you do it beforehand, it was convenient that you can leave your luggage before actual check in and after. The location is quite distant from train station , if you plan to move around a lot you’d better find a better option. Overall it was good experience but it seemed to me you can get more for this price in other hotels. And be prepared, your room might face inner garden (another building- which makes it a choice to have inner lights or face other windows right out of your bed)"

"I loved this hotel. It is very clean and hot spring fills up very quickly. There is a lot of variety to select from at the breakfast buffet. Only downside is there is only one very small elevator for the whole building. It will only hold 4-5 adults max. During busy times, you will need to wait for a few rounds to get on."

"At midnight, you can hear the upstairs neighbors jumping around; the soundproofing between floors isn't great, and you can hear things dropping. The shower water takes a long time to heat up (almost no hot water at all), which might need some maintenance, or else it would be freezing in winter. The environment is clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly."

"It’s a no-frills hot spring hotel with a built-in onsen tub in each room. Tea bags and instant coffee packs can be found at the reception on the ground floor. The hotel is just a short walk away from the commercial area with eateries and souvenir shops. And it’s a 10-min walk from the Jiaoxi bus station. Pretty good stay but can tell some of the facilities are quite old. Nevertheless, its cleanliness is satisfactory."

"Room is spacious with private hot spring bath. The hot spring is huge and spring water is very hot. Location is not too bad as it’s away from the hustle bustle so it’s quiet. There is a nearby hot spring garden where you can soak leg and have a good massage!"

"Excellent location just a few steps in front of Luodong station, however would easily miss the entrance as you need look outside building for hotel name. 4pm check-in is late, we got a room allocated 15-20mins ahead after waiting some time. The room layout is unique with a strong industrial design and open concept. Best was the spacious bathroom with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. Just lack of a proper handwash! The double bed was comfy to sleep too, recommend Hive Hotel."

"This is the best hotel throughout my stay. There is private hotspring in the room. The breakfast variety would blow your mind, love it! Do take note Wedn night till Fri 3pm the public hotspring under maintenance."

"The location is moderate and it is not far from anywhere. The location guide is also very easy to find. Convenient parking and quiet living environment. Good sound insulation. And the proprietress is very good, and will recommend you local delicious food. Before returning to the hotel, you will be notified that you will turn on the air conditioner for you to cool off as soon as you return to the hotel. The room is large, and each bedside is equipped with USD and Type C plugs, which makes you easy to charge and very intimate. Next time you come to Yilan, you will definitely stay back. Included in the pocket list."

"We keerden vanuit Kinmen terug naar Taiwan voor het Chinese Nieuwjaar. Na de landing reden we met de kinderen naar het Yamaguchi Onsen Hotel, dat we een maand van tevoren hadden geboekt. Dit was hun eerste keer dat ze een warmwaterbron gebruikten. We verbleven in een blokhut. We checkten in bij de receptie van het hoofdgebouw; de mannelijke medewerker was erg behulpzaam en beantwoordde al onze vragen uitgebreid. Zodra we de deur van onze hut openden, werden we begroet door een aangename houtachtige geur. Na even uitgerust te hebben, namen we de kinderen mee naar het openbare warmwaterbronbad op de vijfde verdieping. Het was een erg winderige dag, maar de warmwaterbron was zo warm dat de kinderen niet wilden opstaan. Gelukkig waren we die dag maar met z'n vieren, dus we stoorden anderen niet en konden de kinderen naar hartelust badderen. Ook hing er af en toe een onaangename geur in de badkamer, maar die verdween zodra de deur dichtging. We werden 's ochtends zelfs wakker van het geluid van rennen, lopen en springen op het dak! Mijn man dacht dat het een eekhoorn was, toen een vogel, maar het bleek een aap te zijn! Voor de prijs van iets meer dan 2000 NTD, inclusief ontbijt, vond ik het best goed. Ik zou dit hotel zeker weer kiezen als ik de volgende keer naar een warmwaterbron wil."

"the hotel was located a little further away from the downtown area, but it's a walking distance from there & the train station (~12 mins). in a very safe neighbourhood as it's near the hot spring park so there will always be someone around. the room is very big and the hot spring in the room was just a huge huge pamper for myself after a long day exploring / hiking. the staffs were all super friendly and helpful 😊 i didn't order breakfast when i booked the hotel but they still provide very basic breakfast meal for you (they even deliver it to your room so that you can have breakfast in bed 🥺). the food they provide is also v delicious. highly recommended to stay here as it is easily one of my favourite and most memorable hotels!"
