2-Starhotels in Malakka

"I stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together."

"This hotel is in a convenient location, the jonker night market is just in front of the hotel. Hotel sets in high standard all are very clean and feel very comfortable. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Malacca is an amazing city you will come again and again."

"The towels in the room smelled terrible. We're a family, and I booked three rooms. The air conditioning wasn't very warm. There were only Malay restaurants downstairs, no Chinese restaurants, which was a bit disappointing. The only convenient option was a laundry shop nearby."

"The hotel was a pleasant place to stay and met my expectations well. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transport. Facilities were good and added extra comfort to the experience. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money and a smooth, hassle-free stay. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay, whether for business or leisure."

"Both my husband and l loved this place. We’ve been here many years ago and now back with a room that has a garden, beautiful, spacious, couldn’t be better.  Absolutely nice. Location very convenient, staff very friendly. Will definitely be back."

"Room was pleasant and clean! Hotel is located in a quiet location. Walking distance to a 7-11. Found a small coffee shop nearby with nice fishball noodles! There's parking available along the roadside in front of the hotel. Location of hotel is walking distance to attractions! Do remember to ensure proper sun protection as the sun is pretty strong when i went in August 🥺 got a little sunburnt"

"Dit was de eerste keer dat ik in een hostel verbleef, en ik was aangenaam verrast door de prettige sfeer. Zelfs met de gordijnen dicht had ik mijn eigen privacy. Hoewel de kamer geen ramen had, werkte de airconditioning uitstekend en was het helemaal niet benauwd – fantastisch!"

"I am Totally Impressed with the Cleaniness and The Spaciousness this Family Room Provides. The Toilet is Huge and Big and very Colourful The space it had is so Amazing for a family of 6. Me and Wife love the bed they provide even better than some of the Hotel around and the pillow have Different hardness and Softness. Air con was new and very cold yet still providing us 2 fan to better equip the room with more wind in the day time Location need to Specifically mention as it was really just 650m walk away as most of the locals is parking at Lot 78 area so I could visit the Jonker street night market easily Will definitely only want to book and stay at Lot 78 when I visit Malacca with my Kids and family again and will even want to explore booking the 2nd floor that 2 more special Room : )"

"The room is clean, beds are comfortable, shampoo & soap are provided (have to bring your own dental & hair grooming products), the service is warm, friendly & helpful, and checking in & out was very quick. Also, there’s a water dispenser so you can top up water bottles and complimentary luggage storage service is provided to do more sightseeing after check out or waiting to check in. The only downside is that there’s no lift so unless you are staying in the family suites on the ground level, have to lug all your stuff up the staircase to the 2nd floor."
