2-Starhotels in Daegu

I had a very pleasant stay at Prana Hotel in Hyunpoong. The hotel is very new, and you can immediately feel the modern and well-thought-out design throughout the entire property. Everything is clean, fresh, and maintained to a high standard. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff - very fluent in English! The reception team in particular was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and the overall stay very smooth and comfortable. The hotel also offers very convenient parking, which is a big plus if you are traveling by car. In addition, the fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for maintaining your routine while staying there. A nice extra is the small bar, which provides a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. You can enjoy a selection of drinks like beer and gin & tonic, along with some snacks — a simple but very appreciated touch. Overall, Prana Hotel is an excellent choice in Hyunpoong if you are looking for a modern, comfortable stay with great service. I booked already another stay next week.

This hotel is close to everything, such as bus station and metro line. Also it is placed just in the middle of shopping centers. The hotel room was spacious and had all the necessary amenties. Although I stayed in many hotels of similar prices in Korea, this one was the cleanest. The room service was really good. If I have a chance to visit Daegu, I'll definitely book again here.

The accommodation is very comfortable with complete facilities. Although we arrived before check-in time, the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage. During our stay, the hotel was under renovation. We had reserved breakfast, but it was not available, so the hotel refunded us and upgraded our room for one night. However, we had to move to a different room the next night due to ongoing renovations. The room conditions matched the pictures shown. The staff was lovely and, despite not speaking English, made great efforts to assist us. There are convenience stores and numerous restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient for work. Transportation is easy, with a bus stop within walking distance. If there is an opportunity, we will stay here again.

Initially i tried to book hotel close to KNU and trip.com said its 1.7-2km. But it was further than i expected like it takes around 25-30 min from the hotel to KNU by bus😒 Plus, there is not many food places or shops or cafes next to the hotel and the nearest convenience store is up in the opposite road which was inconvenient to me. For me, one good thing about this hotel was TV which had access to youtube, netflix etc. Also, i felt that the wall was so thin like i literally heard people's talking, crying and shower sound etc. the younger female receptionist was not kind also!

De locatie van het hotel is geweldig en er is een wasmachine en een föhn in de kamer, dus ik heb een heel comfortabel verblijf gehad. Ik wil hier zeker nog een keer verblijven als ik naar Daegu ga!! Het enige nadeel is dat er een sterke braaklucht in de badkamer hing. ㅠㅠㅠ Als je die geur weghaalt, is het echt perfect.

북세미나 있어서 부랴부랴 예약한 엘리시아 호텔! 아이랑 방문하기 너무 쾌적하고 부근에 맛집 편의점 잘 되어 있어 좋아요! 아이와 대구 여행할 때 여기 좋아요!! 다음달에 또 대구 가는데 무조건 여기 예약할 거에요!!!

While it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

Clasical love hotel. Near subway station, calm area. in walking distance from big street market and zoo park. To city centrum it's few minutes by subway or long walk. Good place to even stay longer.

房間乾淨舒適，自助check in很新鮮，可以寄放行李，但不要放太貴重的東西，只提供廁所衛生紙，客廳衛生紙得自備，地點位置相當優越，收費相當實惠，下次再來大邱會再選擇入住

Ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat de prijs het weerspiegelt. De receptie was erg enthousiast en vroeg ons om eerst onze bagage neer te zetten. Er is een hele straat slechts twee blokken verderop die vol staat met eten er zijn nachtclubs of karaoke. Het voelt als een klokhotel. Als je een vrouw bent, zou ik het niet aanbevelen. Het ligt heel dicht bij het station van Dongdaegu en is te voet bereikbaar.
