"Het hostel ligt op 5 minuten lopen van het busstation, wat erg handig is. Het is echter wel een behoorlijke wandeling van daaruit naar het centrum. Het was wel wat lastig te vinden, omdat de ingang bij de ingang van een ander hotel is en je naar de bovenverdieping moet om het hostel binnen te komen.
De slaapzaal voor vrouwen is vrij klein en er is bijna geen ruimte om je bagage achter te laten.
De lakens waren niet schoon en duidelijk al eerder gebruikt.
Er waren voldoende toiletten en douches beschikbaar, die overigens wel schoon waren. De familie die het hostel beheert is erg aardig, maar ze lijken niet veel te weten over activiteiten zoals wandelen in de omgeving.
Wifi beschikbaar in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte.
Oké voor een of twee nachten."

"Goed hotel, zeer dicht bij het busstation en de kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt.
Het duurde ons enige tijd om de plek te vinden, omdat er geen “Mercury Hotel” tekenen overal, maar toon de boekingstekst aan een lokale helpde37413; ze zelfs vonden een Engels spreker voor ons. Als u hier reserveert, merk dan op dat de ingang achter het gebouw is, niet op de hoofdstraat. Het is een kleine ingang."

"The place is very close to the bus station so it is convenient. It is by the river that flows through the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and efficient. The owner couple are so friendly and always do their best for their clients. I went on a day tour with the owner and a couple other travelers. He gave us plenty of time to walk around, no time pressure. The views are magnificent on the tour. A very good place to stay."

"Chose this room because it’s near the bus station, I just stay one night in Kangding waiting for the bus to Daocheng next day. But overall it’s good, location is good and near many restaurants. Even the room have a little smell but It’s quite clean. They even give me some food for breakfast when I leave the hotel in early morning 🥹"

"De kamer lag in een rustige buurt van Tagong Town en was erg schoon. De receptioniste hielp zelfs met mijn bagage. Het was een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding, zeer comfortabel en het warme water was uitstekend. Parkeren was gemakkelijk. Voor deze Tibetaanse buurt was het een mooi ingerichte kamer. Het lag niet aan een drukke weg, maar was juist rustig en vredig, wat zorgde voor een zeer aangenaam verblijf. Absoluut een aanrader!"

"房間非常好像老闆拍的照片一樣，去哪都可以走路過去，因為沒地停車，加上縣城不大。
不足是就是第一次去可能有點難找，最好根據門牌好找（他家門口還沒有號，但是邊上住户都有）
另外他們家旁邊十幾米就有一個停車場，過夜30。馬路對面也🈶車位，但基本全滿。
房間熱水一般，感覺是温的。"

"This place was great! The staff was friendly, the check-in was easy, our room was very clean, and the windows were large and opened.The toilet seat was warm. The shower was modern. There was a good heater. And most of all, the hot pools are beautifully done with natural stone, clean, nice and dark at night, and a variety of temperatures."

GGastgebruikerThis was a great friendly hostel with a really helpful and warm owner. It’s right by the bus station down by the river and has an absolutely beautiful view in the valley right outside. The common area is cool (all glass so very bright) and really nicely furnished, and sometimes they will light a fire in the evening to make it cosy. The room was really comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping at all. The owner also helped me find interesting things to do in the area and even helped me find a solution when the bus I wanted to take was fully booked. I’d really recommend staying here. It’s also a fast walk to the centre of town and easy to get to the temples etc, I’d say it’s the best location because you can easily get to other places with the bus station so near by as well.

GGastgebruikerI have never met such lovely hotel staff members. They helped me book trips, gave me tips around acclimatization and things to do and so much more. If I return to Kangding, I'll stay here again, for the amazing and kind service! Aside from that, the room had a working AC, hot shower (though requires a little figuring out) and a TV that I could connect to with the HDMI cable they had in the router. The location is rather quite at the north eastern end of the city, which I preferred to the center. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the city center by foot and there's plenty of taxis for around 5 yuan to take you to other parts of the very elongated city. The hotel also has a large lobby with tables, though of course it's a bit cold there.

XXieerhejiananfeng超級滿意，乾淨衞生，服務不錯，價格也很便宜，我真心推薦大家入住這家酒店。旁邊的河水湍流不息特別有助於睡眠。
我也非常真心推薦大家去吃隔壁 邛崍飯館的 氂牛肉鍋 味道絕對一級棒 還有 他家的早餐也很豐富，老闆真的好熱情好客 四川人真的很好。酒店和隔壁的邛崍飯館 還有康定的夜景 雖然衹有一個晚上是我這一生難忘的回憶留下的最好印象。
飯館就在卡薩酒店門靠門。

GGastgebruikerWe happen to visit Dartsedo (or commonly know as Kanding) in October, at the time of a big national holiday. So, the town was full of visitors from the mainland. Our original hotel has rejected our booking and this hostel was one of the very few options left. We booked 3 rooms in total.
There are lots of good things that could be said about this hostel. The owner and the staff ladies were very nice and super helpful. They had accepted to wash our bag of travel clothes in the facilities free of charge, which was very kind. The rooms were what could be expected from this type of accommodation and for booking last minute. All was much nicely arranged that what we have expected for a hostel and the bedding were very clean .The common areas where also kept clean at all time. The shower area are on the small side, but all had hot water, towels, overall not great as maintenance but clean and functional.
Our room was probably the only one that was facing a brick wall not a street, but we were OK with it. Anyone visiting this area from the West, should be ready to use squat toilets, which are common in this part of the world. Our room was probably the only one equipped with it. The bed had some kind of board instead of a mattress, but still was comfortable to sleep. The location was great. Obviously if you are a Westerner, you shouldn't expect a peaceful place , but this hostel is on the main street leading to the ”Love square”, with many nice places to eat and buy what you need. And the walk up to the central town is short and pleasant.
The only recommendation we can make is to put some mosquitos repellent, Our room was for some reason had the most and that made it difficult to sleep..
On the downside, but we know it's a common problem for the town- there is no parking for the hostel and in general very difficult to find a parking place in this town. And the hostel is on the 3rd floor, so you should be prepared to take your luggage on the stairs.

GGastgebruikerEven though Tagong isn’t a big city with modern amenities, the hotel was disappointingly scruffy and significantly more expensive than any other hotel we’ve stayed in in our month here (in China). Doors that don’t close, lights that don’t work, dingy rooms with dirty windows around a poorly maintained and decorated courtyard don’t inspire. Tagong is surrounded by an amazing and beautiful landscape and deserves better quality hotels than this one. Not good value for money.

AAnonieme gebruikerDe locatie van de B&B is erg gunstig. Beneden is het Love Song Square en ernaast ligt Liuliu City. Ik kwam vroeg aan en de eigenaar was erg aardig. Later kreeg ik een kamer met een kingsize bed. De kamer was ruim en ik kreeg een extra deken. Ik kon 's nachts naar buiten kijken en de kamer werd heel netjes schoongemaakt. Er was altijd warm water en de tante zette 's nachts de vloerverwarming aan, zodat ik het niet koud had tijdens het slapen. Het enige nadeel was dat ze geen wegwerpslippers van katoen hadden, alleen sandalen, maar desondanks was het een goede recensie. Ik kom de volgende keer zeker terug!!!

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

GGastgebruikerDe baas is erg vriendelijk en de sanitaire voorzieningen zijn uitstekend. Ik denk dat dit een goede plek is om te verblijven in Tagong Town. Het huis is groot en de prijs is redelijk. We zijn met z'n vieren en hebben twee kamers. Iedereen gaf het een hoge beoordeling. De stad zelf is niet groot en het is erg handig om er te eten. Je kunt allerlei Sichuan-gerechten vinden als je linksaf de trap af gaat.
