2-Starhotels in Daocheng County

"Of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip to Western Sichuan, this was the best I could recommend! First: It was cheap! Incredibly cheap! Excellent value for money! Second: Because it was a new hotel, the facilities were all new and clean! Anyone who's traveled to Western Sichuan knows how important a clean hotel is! Third: It had underfloor heating! When I booked, I saw it had underfloor heating, but the price was so cheap that I even called the owner to confirm it was there and could be turned on. I checked again when I arrived. I was amazed when I went in; the lobby was huge and bright, completely unlike its ordinary appearance from the outside. The only downside is that it's located in a village, making it more suitable for those traveling by car."

"Absolutely wonderful homestay and hostess! I was travelling alone and suffered some altitude sickness and the hostess was so kind. She organised the oxygen machine so I could sleep and recover from the sickness. I stayed 2 nights originally and loved it so much i went back later and stayed another night.The rooms are extremely comfortable, great hot water pressure, excellent heating. The hostess speaks excellent English and also can organise carpooling with taxis to reach Yading. I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Daocheng."

"We waren bijzonder tevreden over ons verblijf. We gingen 's ochtends naar Yading Village om onze bagage op te slaan, en we werden meteen ondergebracht in een kamer die beschikbaar was. Toen we 's avonds terugkwamen, had onze vriend een laag zuurstofgehalte in het bloed en voelde hij zich ongemakkelijk. dus de dame bij de receptie bracht ons er zelfs heen. We waren zuurstof aan het inhaleren, maar de apparatuur bij de EHBO-post werkte niet goed, dus ging ze ons helpen een zuurstoftoevoermachine te vinden (het hotel heeft een eigen zuurstofvoorziening). was echt goed, en het hotel was ook erg schoon en hygiënisch."

"The sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong."

"Het is fantastisch! Parkeren is direct voor de deur mogelijk en er zijn veel kleine restaurants en supermarkten in de buurt. Ze zijn tot laat in de avond open, waardoor het erg handig is om te eten en te winkelen! De eigenaar was erg gastvrij en hielp ons zelfs met het dragen van onze bagage naar de ingang op de derde verdieping. Hij legde ook uit hoe we in Daocheng Yading konden komen, wat er te doen was en waar we op moesten letten. De kamer was ook schoon en netjes. Het was een fantastische ervaring! Een echte aanrader! We reisden op basis van deze kaart die in de kamer van de eigenaar hing!"

"我們在訂房軟件上訂的酒店，這趟川西之旅我不想有遺憾，所以在之前我有些勉強自己，但一下車冷空氣還是戳穿了我的偽裝，好冷，渾身上下止不住的抖，酒店的小哥看到我這樣立馬給開了氧氣輸送機，前台的小哥哥開房也很快。沒過多久我就到了房間，接待我們的小哥幫我們拿了超重的大箱子，給我們開了電熱毯和製氧機，也貼心的叮囑我們一些事情，房間很快就暖洋洋的，我躺在電熱毯上，小夥伴燒了好些熱水給我，我的症狀減輕了很多，酒店的水竟然給了六瓶whh，這點真的很適合我和我的小夥伴，來了川西總是喝不夠水，嘴裏鼻子裏都是乾乾的，過了二十多分鐘我們的包車師傅打電話問我有沒有好些，我回答好些了，師傅也是再三確認我沒什麼大礙，就去給車充電了，沒想到師傅還默默在樓下等了這麼久，這個時候我的身體很温暖，心也很温暖。 雖説現在我還在失眠，但我真的不難受了，暖和了就好很多。 謝謝你們，小夥伴好，包車師傅好，酒店小哥好。祝你們健康平安"

"民宿院子很大，可以坐在院子喝茶聊天看夕陽，晚上可以看星空，院子草也綠了還開着不用顏色的小碎花特別漂亮，還可以免費穿藏服拍照也很出片，老闆很熱情還幫我們提行李服務不錯！"

"Absolutely loved this hotel on my trip! The room was spotless, and having an oxygen concentrator made a huge difference – my high-altitude headache was almost completely gone after one night. Great value for money, highly recommend staying here. The owner is incredibly nice and even sent me a super detailed guide for Daocheng Yading. The hotel facilities are excellent too."

"Een kleine binnenplaats in Tibetaanse stijl. Echt gezellig, met een prachtige grote golden retriever. Service: Absoluut geweldig. Na mijn boeking kon ik niet op tijd aankomen vanwege het weer en tijdgebrek. De eigenaar was erg attent en verlengde mijn check-in met een dag. We kwamen vroeg aan en de kamer was beschikbaar, dus we mochten eerder inchecken. We waren oorspronkelijk van plan om twee dagen in Daocheng te blijven, maar omdat ik ziek werd en hier geen verdere behandeling kon krijgen, was de eigenaar behulpzaam en stond hij ons toe ons verblijf te annuleren. Ik voelde me echt schuldig dat ik de eigenaar zoveel problemen had bezorgd. Het personeel van deze B&B was absoluut geweldig, en hun service en aandacht waren absoluut perfect. De kamers zijn in Tibetaanse stijl en schoon. Ze hebben zelfs een wasserette. Er zijn tal van eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Het natuurgebied Yading ligt op iets meer dan tien minuten rijden en het is een bruisende omgeving. Een echte aanrader!!!"
