"Het is fantastisch! Parkeren is direct voor de deur mogelijk en er zijn veel kleine restaurants en supermarkten in de buurt. Ze zijn tot laat in de avond open, waardoor het erg handig is om te eten en te winkelen! De eigenaar was erg gastvrij en hielp ons zelfs met het dragen van onze bagage naar de ingang op de derde verdieping. Hij legde ook uit hoe we in Daocheng Yading konden komen, wat er te doen was en waar we op moesten letten. De kamer was ook schoon en netjes. Het was een fantastische ervaring! Een echte aanrader! We reisden op basis van deze kaart die in de kamer van de eigenaar hing!"

"Must give Tashi Daji Starry Sky Hotel a five-star praise. At check-in, the front desk was very warm, from the play to the route to the travel details, the whole process was the intimate reception of the beautiful boss. We asked about the way to take a taxi to the scenic spot. The boss directly said that there was no need to take a taxi. He personally sent us there early on the second day. He also reminded us of the time to play and the return fare. He also recommended delicious restaurants for us. The hotel opened this year. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are perfect, and the mountain view room has a great view. There are a lot of parking spaces in the underground three-story parking lot. The boss treats people really warmly and takes care of them throughout the whole process. I really recommend everyone to stay."

"Absolutely wonderful homestay and hostess! I was travelling alone and suffered some altitude sickness and the hostess was so kind. She organised the oxygen machine so I could sleep and recover from the sickness. I stayed 2 nights originally and loved it so much i went back later and stayed another night.The rooms are extremely comfortable, great hot water pressure, excellent heating. The hostess speaks excellent English and also can organise carpooling with taxis to reach Yading. I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Daocheng."

"All are good, just only the smell from the kitchen that come into the room every morning and evening because my room is opposite the reception. And my nose is very sensitive to these kind of smoke, need to open the window but it is so cold outside -1'c. And the humidifier is not working too.
At night it is quite, all people are tried from trekking :)"

"We waren bijzonder tevreden over ons verblijf. We gingen 's ochtends naar Yading Village om onze bagage op te slaan, en we werden meteen ondergebracht in een kamer die beschikbaar was. Toen we 's avonds terugkwamen, had onze vriend een laag zuurstofgehalte in het bloed en voelde hij zich ongemakkelijk. dus de dame bij de receptie bracht ons er zelfs heen. "We just need to stay overnight to take the morning flight in Daocheng. We arrived around 8pm, so didn't get to see much of the town.
Good points:
+ The hotel has elevator, which is helpful, even though a little old.
+ There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, so we could buy food for our next day breakfast as the rooms didn't come with breakfast.
+ The staff is very helpful in booking us a taxi the next morning to go to the airport.
+ The room we got has no cigarette smell
Improvement point:
- The hot shower was working, but the water pressure was low, so it's very hard to shower without getting cold."

"Very nice hotel located conveniently at bus stop 2. Staff very friendly and we were able to communicate with google translate. Room is nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very good - when there were few guests I told them what time I would eat breakfast and it was prepared for me. When there were many guests it was a buffet.
Just minus one point because the bathroom was not cleaned properly - the toilet was not clean, someone else’s toothbrush had been left, and the shower was extremely leaky.
I recommend this hotel as the overall experience was good and it was good value."

Kkenny1Ik kan dit hotel van harte aanbevelen als je van plan bent om Yading National Park te bezoeken. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en gaf goede tips om je voor te bereiden op de wandeling. We waren dan ook zeer goed voorbereid en konden de hele lange en korte route in één dag lopen. Het hotel biedt zuurstof aan voor 10 yuan, een regenjas voor 10 yuan en een wandelstok voor 15 yuan, tegen een zeer redelijke prijs. Het hotel ligt ook dicht bij restaurants en een supermarkt.
Als je een buitenlander bent, zul je je hier helemaal thuis voelen. Al met al een zeer goed verblijf en de eigenaar was erg gastvrij. We komen zeker snel terug.

GGastgebruikerThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street.
Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops.
The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet.
The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird.
He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。
Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture.
The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny.
I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one.

GGastgebruikerI am YS solo traveler but have lived in China for six months each year for 12 years. My fourth time to Yading to visit the fabulous park. I stayed at the Super 8 one night before going into the park. Then I stayed in the small yarding Village inside the park for one night and then return to the Super 8 again for the third night before departing yarding. The hotel was just great. Walk in town and main street with many restaurants in 2 minutes. Lots of feee managed parking behind the hotel. The value for money is quite good. I paid 183 RMB. my room was large very clean comfortable bed and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip back to Yadin.

Staff are helpful. They can speak a bit of English. Foreigners are accepted.

LLaurentontherunRight in the center of Xiangelila town, 2min walk from supermarkets restaurants and even a Dicos! It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!

KKamonmart789I love the location and cleaning of the place. This is my 1st time in Shangrila town. The Owner is very friendly and helpful. He guided me and walk with me to buy a bus ticket even he is cannot speak English but Google translate and wechat can help us a lot. So I ended up book 1 more night in Riwa
Location : Great, 5 mins walk from Riwa Bus station
(hotel is next to the bus station but it’s in the backside)
Room : Big and Clean
Water pressure : High but slightly take time to hot
(it’s so cold in April)

PPTinThe hotel is very close to Yading bus station, only 5 minutes walk and short stairs ( not difficult) But there's another way round to the hotel as well. Because Riwa village is small and pathways are connected.. All amenities are available and check in process is smooth and easy.
As Riwa village is very small, you can find many many food shops and super markets.
The only thing is you cannot WeChat with hotel. They don't use WeChat. But you can reach hotel from Amap app easily by searching ”Daocheng Yading Xiangya Shan Holiday Inn”. If you search Ivory mountain, you will not find it
