"Chengde Kumquat hotel, has a good location – 10 minutes of walking from Chengde South Railway Station. Rooms are clean and spacious. However, there are no fabric towels, only paper ones. Imagine you dry yourself with a paper towel, which is disgusting, It is not enough, so you have to suffer after taking a shower. The old lady who rents eight rooms (that is all for this small hotel) does not want to bother to wash towels; she prefers lazy lifestyle of rich owners - easy money with less work."

The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. MMingming622Ik ben zo blij dat ik dit pension als uitvalsbasis heb gekozen voor mijn beklimming van de Chinese Muur bij Jinshanling. Het lag zo dicht bij de ingang, op slechts drie minuten lopen! De kamer was groter en schoner dan ik had verwacht, en de eigenaar was ongelooflijk aardig, geduldig en bescheiden. Hij deed zijn best om aan al onze wensen te voldoen. Mijn reisgenoten waren allemaal verrast door hoe mooi de kamer was! We gingen om 6:30 uur 's ochtends naar de wolkenzee kijken, ontbeten, rustten even uit en gingen toen terug het park in om de zonsondergang boven de Chinese Muur te bewonderen. Het was een perfecte reis! Ik kom zeker terug naar Jinshanling voor het herfstlandschap!

We hadden het geluk dat we een upgrade kregen voor onze eerste nachten. Het hotel is fantastisch, met comfortabele bedden, warm water en airconditioning. Het is schoon. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Ze bieden onbeperkt water. We konden onze was doen. Er is zelfs een tuin.
De locatie is ideaal, op 300 meter van de ingang van de Chinese Muur, de Jinshanling Middle Gate. Er zijn restaurants in de buurt; het restaurant van het hotel gaat in september weer open.
De managers zijn perfect, erg vriendelijk en super behulpzaam. Ze zijn beschikbaar en hebben de mogelijke routes naar de muur uitgelegd. Ze hebben ons zelfs geholpen onze trein vanuit Gubeikou te halen, ook al was er geen plek meer online! Een dikke dankjewel voor de kwaliteit van de service, waar we erg blij mee waren. We hebben zelfs een extra nacht verbleven, in de kamer die we oorspronkelijk hadden gekozen; ook die biedt alles wat we nodig hebben.
Ik kan dit hotel van harte aanbevelen.

XXihuandaochuzouzoudexueli從北京去朝陽，搜尋沿路的景點，看到了金山嶺長城，評價非常好，就決定來這裏。訂酒店的時候翻了好久，最後選定了這家農家院，老闆一家非常熱情，有停車位。酒店就在景區大門口，注意，不是景區大門外，是景區中門的門口，直接省了電瓶車的費用，遊覽完長城從東門下山老闆娘還親自來接。酒店位置也非常好，看完景區夜景出來之後發現酒店的位置看夜景就很棒。位置有限，酒店條件一般，但收拾的很乾凈，也很安靜，休息的不錯。

The staff is welcoming and helpful as it can be. 5 stars.
The room is small but okay. The bed is comfortable like most chinese beds. The bathroom is super tiny and had some plumbing problems also the grey water from the shower runs across the floor to the sink, bear in bind when you put dowm a towel for your feet.
The light in all rooms is very dark and everything in the room was laying under a urine smell caused by the aircon. That's the reason we would not stay here again.
The breakfast is great but the room is too small to fit all guests, so it gets super busy.
Plus point: you can tale your bicycle to the rooms.

VValentin VagabondThis is a nice and clean hotel close to restaurants and shops, and they accepted me as a foreigner without a problem.
But it was the very first time on my two year long bicycle journey that I had to leave my bicycle outside the hotel in a car park. I know that China is a safe country, because there are security cameras everywhere, but if something happens to my bike, it might be the end of my journey.
The other disturbing thing was that the staff was talking very loud in the corridor at 6.30 am and I couldn't get enough sleep. Please keep in mind that people want to rest and sleep .You can talk to each other in a more polite way.

SShengteluopeiliubangIk moet er een serieuze recensie over geven. Hij is echt enthousiast. Ik heb vooraf contact opgenomen met de baas omdat ik niet gegeten heb. Onverwachts nam de baas het initiatief om te vragen of het er bijna was en wachtte bij de deur. Ik had ontbijt voor tien yuan totdat ik vol zat. Omdat ik kinderen had, gaf de baas me gratis maaltijden. Er is geen tarief vereist, de auto kan naar de ticketpoort worden gestuurd, het sanitair is erg schoon en het eten is huisgemaakt Om eerlijk te zijn, als je niet thuis bent, zijn de servicegerichtheid en de prijs van eten en accommodatie niet kieskeurig.

GGastgebruikerWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

Uun_guillouZeer vriendelijke jeugdherberg in het centrum van Chengde. De locatie is uitstekend en je kunt bijna alles te voet doen. De bar is een leuke toevoeging, want ze hebben goede bieren en ik kon dobbelen met andere gasten. De sfeer was leuk en iedereen vertrok voordat ik om middernacht naar bed ging. Het personeel is geweldig en behulpzaam, want ze lieten me van kamer wisselen om te ontsnappen aan een zeer onbeschofte gast die heel hard naar video's op zijn telefoon luisterde zonder oordopjes. Ik kon ook mijn was doen voor een lage prijs, maar ze zouden kunnen investeren in meer hangers.
