Hotels met spa in Huế

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

Het hotel is relatief nieuw en goed onderhouden. Het enige minpuntje was dat de douche geen doorstroomverwarmer heeft. Je moet dus wachten tot het water warm is en er is maar een beperkte hoeveelheid warm water. Verder was alles prima. Het ontbijt overtrof mijn verwachtingen voor een klein hotel, met een gevarieerde keuze aan gerechten. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam. Ze hebben chauffeurs en auto's die je kunt boeken. De chauffeur was erg vriendelijk en sprak een beetje Engels. We hebben gebruikgemaakt van de transfer van Da Nang naar Hue en een dagtocht in Hue inclusief transfer naar de luchthaven. Het was een zeer prettige ervaring met de chauffeur. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is ook erg mooi.

I was treated like royalty from the moment I arrived for my 4 night stay. Requested a much earlier check in with no problem & no extra cost. Was offered a free upgrade to an incredible much larger apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable bed & pillows. The housekeeping staff cleaned every day & left fresh water & fruit. The breakfast selection is huge with an 'egg station' to have your eggs cooked just how you like. I ordered dinner to my room in the evening & the food & service was impeccable. The free Yoga & Tai Chi Classes are an extra bonus & I got the chance to kayak on the Lagoon for 2 hours which is also free. If I needed help with anything I just had to message & was replied to immediately. I also requested a later check out & that was done with no problem. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, if only all hotel staff were like this! The only flaw at the Resort is the Bird Room. I didn't know birds would be in cages & unable to fly properly. This was upsetting & I can imagine may put some people off from booking. It doesn't make sense to cage birds when you are surrounded by them at the Resort. Apart from that aspect I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay & thank everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

Heerlijk hotel. Groots opgezet. Vraag een kamer op een hoge verdieping met uitzicht op de rivier. Faciliteiten geweldig. Binnen zwembad, goede gym. Grote lobby, vind ik altijd een lekkere entree. Bovenin geweldig restaurant en rooftop bar met geweldig uitzicht. Ik heb dit hotel aan vrienden aangeraden en zij waren na hun verblijf ook heel enthousiast

Ik heb vooral genoten van mijn verblijf in Pilgrimage Hotel Resort Hue. Het personeel was professioneel, vriendelijk en altijd op zoek naar het comfort van de bezoekers. Voordat we uitcheckten, vroegen ze om onze vluchtgegevens, zodat ze ons een transfer naar de luchthaven konden aanbieden en ze lieten zelfs iemand een karretje voor onze villa klaarmaken om de bagage naar de auto te duwen! Restaurant Junrei, hoewel enigszins prijzig voor Vietnam, serveerde heerlijke Viet-keuken en bood onberispelijke service met service op het juiste moment. De rustieke en natuurlijke sfeer en omgeving maakten het verblijf zeer ontspannend en sereen, een zeer goed besteedde 3d2n in het resort, zou het zeker aanbevelen aan anderen!

Zonder twijfel hebben ze een van de beste ontbijtbuffetten! Er is een goede mix van continentale en lokale gerechten en volop vers tropisch fruit. Wat ik het meest waardeer, zijn de 2-3 verschillende soorten noedelsoep die ze dagelijks wisselen. We kregen zelfs een gratis diner voor 4 personen en het eten was heerlijk, en de service was onberispelijk. Het hotel is, hoewel niet zo glanzend en modern als de meeste hotels tegenwoordig, zeer goed onderhouden. De kamers zijn erg mooi en ruim. We hadden twee kamers met een tussendeur en een daarvan was extreem ruim met een zithoek, erg handig omdat we met kinderen reisden. De kamer was brandschoon, net als de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes van het hotel. De airconditioning - wauw! Het enige minpuntje is het kleine zwembad, dat meer geschikt was om even in te dompelen dan om in te zwemmen. Er zijn veel cafés en restaurants op loopafstand, dus je kunt er makkelijk even heen en weer. Ik zou zeker weer in dit hotel verblijven als ik terug ben in Hue. Grote complimenten aan het team, ze begrijpen de horeca echt.

We had a wonderful vacation in Banyan Tree. The service here is really on another level compared to other 5 star hotels as you are assigned a Villa host who takes care of you during your stay. Our host, Man, was very friendly and very helpful, going as far as to go to some shops to get our daughter some writing supplies so she could do her homework. The villa is nice and it was great to lounge in our private pool. The beach is also private and quiet. The hotel facilities are shared with the sister hotel Angsana which you can travel between with the buggy. The hotels kids club is a little far, closer to the golf so you cannot walk there however the kids club staff are very good with kids. Overall we had a great stay.

A haven for my soul !!! I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine. If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

I had the most amazing stay at Angsana Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities, but what truly makes it special is the people who work there. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction – always smiling, always polite, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Whether it was at the reception, in the restaurants, by the pool, or even the housekeeping team, everyone showed such care and attention to detail that made me feel completely at home. What impressed me the most was that it wasn’t just about good service – it felt sincere. The team really takes pride in making guests happy, and you can feel that in the little things, like remembering your preferences, greeting you by name, or checking if you’re enjoying your stay. It’s this level of friendliness and professionalism that creates such a warm atmosphere at the resort. Angsana Resort is not just a place to relax, it’s a place where you are truly cared for. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making my stay unforgettable – I will definitely be coming back and recommending this resort to everyone I know.

The location and the service is good but the room is old. The gym also is small and the equipment is old, the swimming pool also small and looks dirty. We stayed 5 days but the breakfast provide the same for 5 days, easy to get boring. The noise cancelling in the room is bad, i can hear from outside clearly. Everything in the room is suck especially the bathroom. However, highly for the service and staffs there.
