The historical structure, with its classic Jiangnan water town architecture, has been converted with the utmost respect and sophistication. Inside, however, every modern amenity is thoughtfully integrated—plush bedding, a stunning rain shower, and elegant tech touches—creating a sanctuary of comfort that honors the past without sacrificing a single present-day pleasure. A crowning jewel of each day was the made-to-order breakfast. It was nothing short of spectacular—perfectly balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented. It provided the ideal, energizing start, especially because this clubhouse offers a golden key to Wuzhen: the privilege of exploring the ancient canals and lanes in the serene morning hours, blissfully free from the crowds. To have the misty, poetic beauty of Wuzhen almost to oneself is an unforgettable luxury, and it’s an advantage that truly sets this property apart. Yet, what truly elevated our stay from exceptional to unforgettable was the service, personified by Jiajia. Her warm, attentive, and genuinely caring hospitality catered to our every need with a graceful efficiency and a radiant smile. She anticipated requests, offered wonderful local insights, and handled every detail with such personal care that we felt not just as guests, but as cherished friends. She is the heart and soul of the Clubhouse experience. The Silk Commerce Clubhouse is more than a place to sleep; it’s the perfect, tranquil base from which to fall in love with Wuzhen. Splendid Clubhouse, Wuzhen We waren niet helemaal overtuigd van het Splendid Clubhouse toen we boekten, omdat er niet veel recensies over het hotel waren en de naam niet erg inspirerend klonk. Maar we hebben de gok gewaagd en daar zijn we ontzettend blij mee! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we verwelkomd door een supervriendelijke en lieve gastvrouw die al onze bagage verzorgde, ongelooflijk attent was voor mijn bejaarde moeder en ons hielp met de transfer naar het hotel per privéboot. Het hotel ligt midden in Wuzhen, een waterstad met talloze kanalen. De buitenkant van het hotel is bescheiden, omdat het is ontworpen om op te gaan in de andere gebouwen in Wuzhen, maar eenmaal binnen word je verwelkomd door een prachtig hotel met een mix van moderne en oude architectuur. De check-in service was uitstekend. We kregen een heerlijk geurende thee en warme handdoeken aangeboden en het personeel was allemaal erg vriendelijk en attent. Onze kamers waren prachtig en van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Er stond een gratis fruitmand klaar en er was voldoende flessenwater. De bedden waren zeer comfortabel en veel kamers hadden een fantastisch uitzicht over Wuzhen. Onze dochter heeft speciale dieetwensen, omdat ze allergisch is voor tarwe/gluten, eieren, zuivel, noten en sesam. We waren bang dat het restaurant hier geen rekening mee zou kunnen houden, maar dat bleek ongegrond. Het Splendid Restaurant heeft perfect aan haar behoeften voldaan! De restaurantmanager deed er alles aan om naar onze wensen en zorgen over voedselallergieën en kruisbesmetting te luisteren. We namen zelf sauzen mee (glutenvrije en allergeenvrije sojasaus en oestersaus) en ze pasten de gerechten aan onze wensen aan. Ze bereidden zelfs een speciaal gerecht voor onze dochter. Geen enkel verzoek was te veel voor het personeel of de koks. De maaltijd was fantastisch, een van de beste die we in China hebben gehad. De koks waren subliem; de geroosterde eend was geweldig en ik kan die, net als vrijwel alle gerechten op de menukaart, van harte aanbevelen. Het ontbijt is een fantastische à-carte selectie met lokale gerechten, de gebruikelijke westerse opties en een klein maar ruim buffet. Ook hier deden ze hun uiterste best om aan de wensen van onze dochter tegemoet te komen. We zijn allemaal ontzettend dankbaar voor de uitstekende koks en het restaurantpersoneel. Ik beveel Splendid Clubhouse van harte aan. Ik kan er niet genoeg positieve recensies over schrijven. Het is een ongelooflijk mooi hotel waar oud en nieuw naadloos in elkaar overvloeien, met fantastische service en ze konden zelfs aan onze speciale dieetwensen voldoen.

Our experience was flawless, a testament to the hotel's commitment to excellence. Our personal butler, 半夏 (Banxia), was the cornerstone of our exceptional stay. She met us promptly at the customer service center and whisked us away on a scenic boat ride directly to the hotel – a truly magical start. Banxia anticipated our every need, managing every detail from A to Z with remarkable grace and efficiency. Her attentiveness ensured our complete comfort and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The arrival and check-in process were so seamless, it felt like a dream. We were effortlessly guided to our room, a sanctuary that surpassed all expectations. Describing the room in words simply wouldn't do it justice – it was a masterpiece of design and comfort. While Hengyitang Health Centre is undoubtedly a premium experience, the impeccable service, breathtaking ambiance, and meticulous attention to detail make it worth every penny. If you seek a tranquil escape where every need is catered to with effortless grace, look no further than Hengyitang Health Centre. This is an investment in unparalleled relaxation and rejuvenation.

Our stay at 盛庭行馆 was truly the highlight of our trip to Wuzhen. From the moment we checked in until after we left, our butler 露佳provided impeccable service and constant care. She checked in with us regularly, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. During our visit, I celebrated my birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special — with a beautifully decorated room and a lovely cake. 露佳also gave excellent recommendations for local food and attractions, and made restaurant reservations for us effortlessly through messages. The room was elegant and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere felt both refined and welcoming. Although we visited during the Theater Festival and the town was quite crowded, the serenity and hospitality of 盛庭行馆 made it a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle. I would absolutely choose to stay here again, perhaps at a quieter time, to enjoy even more of its charm.

Eden House is truly the best hotel in Wuzhen. This is our second time staying here, and once again the experience was exceptional. We arrived early in the morning, and the hotel still arranged for someone to meet us and help us check in smoothly. They even recommended a wonderful restaurant and took great care when handling and delivering our luggage. A special thanks to the customer service manager, Xiao Xu, who provided outstanding and highly professional service throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Eden House and will definitely come back again !

It was a pleasantly surprising time at Pullman Haining. The rooms were comfortable and you can do your own laundry if needed. The service was great, especially Dodo from front desk who assisted us on several things. We had a nice time as a family and would definitely consider staying again. The environment was peaceful and quiet, perfect if you want some down time from the busy cities in China.

We had an amazing stay at Naera. We stayed in a few different hotels during our visit to Shanghai and this was by far the best. Room was large with a huge bathtub and a closet and packed with all the amenities we needed, including LOTS of bottled water, including Evian, fruits, snacks, bath supplies, a Dyson hairdryer, stationery for the kids including a magnifying glass, etc etc. The back hotel is also linked to a modern (gentrified) part of the water town with cool pop up booths and shops. It’s also a short walk to one of the entrances to the Ancient Xitang town. Staff were also warm and nice. We also went to the Organic farm but was let down by the drizzle = not much activities for the little one. Only downside I can think of is that the menus / maps provided etc are all in Mandarin and playroom, while clean and large, was totally packed and chaotic. Would love to be back.

The facilities are new, cleanliness is great, breakfast is good! The service of staff is great, professional, polite and helpful! Love this. The Puyuan Fashion Theme Park definitely worths the visit if you are a beginny who wish to have an experience the ancient Jiangnan scenery for the first time. It is a redesigned theme park with ancient town as basis. But everything is there especially if you re not sure what to expect, this is where you can start from. The scenery and experience is great. I had a photoshoot experience with Han costumes in Yun-Xiang Costume Shop, aka Pu Yuan Yi Jin. The photos are great! The team is great ! Love it! But would suggest to visit not during weekend because the whole park is busy, including the photoshoot shops re super busy. Make your appointment and planning.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alila Wuzhen, and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We stayed in the “Garden Suite King,” which was not only clean and spacious but also featured a stunning private garden that added a touch of tranquility to our stay. The hot bathtub was a delightful bonus, providing the perfect spot to unwind and relax The service at Alila Wuzhen was exceptional. Both the room service and front desk staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. The front desk took the time to carefully explain all the facilities to us, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well-informed throughout our stay One of the highlights of our trip was dining at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the ambiance was enhanced by a stylish setting surrounded by bamboo. This thoughtful design created a sense of privacy for each table, making our dining experience even more enjoyable I was also pleased to discover that the gym is open 24 hours, which is a significant advantage for fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, the indoor swimming pool was kept at a warm temperature, allowing us to take a refreshing swim even during the chilly winter nights Lastly, the villa-type design of the hotel is simply breathtaking. Every corner is aesthetically pleasing, making it feel like a photo opportunity at every step. Overall, Alila Wuzhen exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another memorable stay!
