We loved the hotel when we first entered and the 2 women at the front desk were superb, so friendly, welcoming and professional. However, later when we were able to access our room we found the bathroom so dirty and disgusting. There were old splash marks all over the tile behind the sink and on the shower door from the previous occupants and there was mold in all of the crevices in the shower, sink and walls between the tiles. lt was very unsanitary and disgusting. We were so surprised and disappointed that a hotel of this caliber (4-stars) would be this way. We felt dirty staying there and wondered if even the sheets were changed/cleaned if that's how they left the bathroom. We were especially surprised since most hotels have if anything increased cleaning protocols after covid. We addressed the situation with the woman at the front desk who was very nice & professional but said she couldn't do anything and management was not available. We subsequently reached out to management (after our stay) who insisted they are "praised for their cleanliness" and would not look at photos taken of their dirty bathroom because they could not verify them. I would suggest they take a look in the filthy room. Meanwhile we also have seen several other reviews of similarly filthy rooms. Additionally, the pool area is very small with few chairs so we were not able to get a chaise lounges by the pool for the 2 of us during our stay. The manager of the dining area was incredibly rude as well. I asked the waiter if they had cappuccino available and he said yes and upon arriving back at the table put it down with a bill for it. We said we assumed it came with the breakfast as it had with every other hotel we had stayed at and said we wished he would have told us when we ordered that it wasn't part of the breakfast. He asked the dining manager to come over and he explained to him that we thought it was included. He didn't say a word and instead rudely grabbed the coffee, walked away and dumped it in the garbage in front of us. I guess better to throw it in the garbage than make a guest happy! We had high hopes for this hotel and it has such potential but left very disappointed. It's apparently very mismanaged.
