"The hotel is very close to the pier. The store service is very good, and I notified in advance how to take the key into the room. So although it was very late to the hotel, everything went smoothly into the room. The room is modernly decorated, very clean and comfortable, that is, the bed has a platform to climb up and down. Stayed for one night and was quite satisfied."

Terra Minoika Boutique Resort

Wij geloven niet dat een ander boutique resort op Kreta zo speciaal kan zijn voor het uitzicht, de vriendelijkheid, de nabijheid van mooie stranden, Minoan ruïnes, het historische klooster en de ongelooflijke details die in de kunst en kunst objecten die het resort omslaan. We hadden gewild om te blijven in Terra Minoika voor ons hele Kretaanse vakantie als de trage snelheid en natuurlijke schoonheid, eenvoudige tavernen met prachtige voedsel (en opnieuw, de vriendelijkheid en welkom van de eigenaren) onze idee van perfectie."

"Christo's was zeer opmerkzaam, nauwkeurig en maakte de hele ervaring ontspannen. Het enige wat ik zou toevoegen is een muziek om het gezicht nog rustiger te maken."

"Laat ik beginnen met het positieve te benoemen van dit resort en dat is de mooie ligging, het vriendelijke (Filipijnse) personeel, het kwalitatieve en smaakvolle eten en de nette, schone kamers. Echter is de kwaliteit van service in dit resort ver onder de maat en uitermate teleurstellend. Bij het algemene buffet restaurant is de gemiddelde wachttijd voor een drankje zowel bij het ontbijt als diner ruim 30 minuten. Dit geldt overigens ook voor de wachttijden bij de poolbar en de skybar. Wanneer je dit aangeeft bij de afdelingen in het hotel krijg je als reactie ‘excuses, we hebben een personeelstekort’. En dit terwijl ze 125 (!) Filipijnse medewerkers in hebben laten vliegen voor dit seizoen. Welke ook in kamers verblijven tussen de gasten. Het is erg jammer om te zien dat het niet functioneert als een resort maar als individuele eilanden. Wanneer je iets aangeeft bij de receptie of guest relations verwijzen ze altijd naar een andere afdeling die het niet goed doet. Het is zo jammer om te zien. Het hotel heeft veel potentie maar hier komt niet veel van naar voren op dit moment. Ik raad dit hotel dan ook zeker niet aan. Wanneer je beklag wil doen bij management zijn ze slecht tot niet bereikbaar. Na 3 dagen hebben we uiteindelijk contact gehad met de F&B manager. Dit enkel omdat mijn geduld inmiddels op was. Ze zoeken niet naar oplossingen maar naar excuses en pappen het dan een beetje aan met compensaties als een late check-out. Ze moeten serieus met de huidige problemen aan de gang zodat ze niet hoeven te compenseren voor de fouten die ze nu maken. Dit is iets wat niet gebeurt. Het personeel wat in de faciliteiten aan het werk is doet alles wat in hun macht ligt. Helaas is het algemene management in dit hotel te laks/onervaren om hen te ondersteunen en deze issues op te lossen en het resort als een team samen te laten werken. Dit is een kwalijke zaak. Overigens is het algemene management van deze keten ook niet bereikbaar als het lokale management verzaakt. Je wordt niet gehoord. Service is in dit resort ver te zoeken en de Griekse gastvrijheid eveneens."

"Our stay in Porto Kaza was simply wonderful! The hotel is beautifully maintained, extremely clean and thoughtfully designed. The location is fantastic- within walking distance to the center of Sitia and the harbor, yet still peaceful and quiet. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, just perfect for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is also a lovely bonus, offering a stunning view for our morning coffee and breakfast. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. Overall, Porto Kaza is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Sitia. We cannot recommend it enough!"

"Beau surprise , alle appartementen gebouwd aan de heuvels hebben een terras met uitzicht op de zee . De appartementen zijn groot en goed uitgerust, onverklaarbare schoonheid, het hele complex is perfect onderhouden. We kunnen op wandeling gaan naar het strand waar er verschillende tavernen zijn . Ik zie echt geen negatief punt ."

"Absolute joke of a hotel. We booked to stay for 29th July 2025. As of February 25, we started to see worrying signs of people who had booked for May, having their trips cancelled as the hotel wasn't going to be ready. I contacted the hotel reservations to be told the hotel will be fully open by the start of July. I again contacted them in April to be told yes, everything will still be ready for July. Today, 21 May 2025, I have received an email from my booking company saying the hotel is closed until 2026 and they are offering me a different hotel which looks nowhere near as good. Absolutely disgraceful, leaving it so late that we will struggle to find a new hotel to accommodate all our family at such short notice."
