The staff were so accommodating and suggested great venues to visit for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were amazing with a variety of choices. We had a sea facing room that was awesome with views over the harbor and the room was clean and air conditioned and ready on time. I would recommend this hotel 100%!

So nice! This hotel is suitable for self-driving tours, the location is excellent, facing the sea, although there are not many rooms, but the home is warm, the service is good, and the breakfast is good. The key is that it is very close to the place to see the penguins. You can drive for 5 minutes and walk for 2 kilometers.

We booked a ”Standard Twin Room with Courtyard View” and that was excellent value for money. Very friendly staff, clean room, very quiet at night and veeeeeery close to Boulders Beach and the penguins. An ideal location to go hiking at Cape Point . The only 2 negative points: the walls are very thin so you hear the neighbours talking (but once they sleep it's very quiet). And they start serving breakfast too late (only from 9:30 while we are used to have breakfast at 7am, especially when we do day hikes.)

Had a wonderful stay at Abington Manor. Brilliantly looked after by Prisca and her team- amazing breakfast. The lodge is immaculate with a lovely pool and garden and is perfectly situated for walking to the beach. Richard took us on two great day trips- firstly to Bloubergstrand and then to two vineyards. A most relaxing location, indoors or out, a beautiful building and very pleasant staff. The whole layout is charming and some of the outdoor dining is around an open air swimming pool. The lunch menu was not a wide choice, Asian dishes or burger types, my taste would have been for some more traditional offerings, though that said quality was good and well served.
