Very friendly staff. Big and clean room. Just a short walk to Disneyland

Advantage is its close proximity to Disneyland Shanghai. Lack of facilities is one of its shortcomings.

Awesome location if you are going to Disney Shanghai, just a ten minute walk to Disney's main entrance. The rooms were extremely nice. The restaurant in the hotel had only a small selection of dishes to choose, was very good, but definitely overprived (especially considering there is nowhere else to eat). I would say a better choice than the disney hotel.

What a beautiful hotel with the amazing scenery! We felt like we are not in SHA with well maintained green grass with flowers inside the hotel which was really relaxing. If you would like to be away from busy city with full of high buildings I definitely recommend this hotel. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for preparing the special gift to my family since we were celebrating special day! Room: very spacious with good amenities, unlike many hotels in SH it was convenient that bathroom and bathtub is separated! Having yard at the back was so lovely as we were able to have happy hour drinks in the evening! Service: They’re trying to be helpful but it seems less stuffs so when I needed room service and called nobody answered my calls so I had to wait for a while to be answered. Breakfast: The food was good but with this amount of price of stay I wished the had more variety of food.

Melia Shanghai Parkside is my kind of Disney hotel! Design is beautiful with subtle Disney reference. Our suite has a huge bathroom and living room. Best feature is the high slanted ceiling. I feel like we were staying in a luxurious chalet. It was amazing! Wish we booked a few more nights

Wonderful stay here! Comfy, spacious rooms with a great design and only a walking distance from Disneyland. The breakfast was delicious and it was definitely welcoming and family friendly plus welcoming!! Will definitely stay here again !

Excellent hotel, great service, exceptional location for visiting Disneyland Shanghai. Hassle free stroll to Disneyland Shanghai. Parking at hotel is free. Complimentary shuttle service to gate, 7-10mins walk to Disneyland.

The rooms are well-equipped with what we needed and were a good size. The courtyard option is great for kids to run and jump outside. Breakfast selection is smaller than a large chain hotel but has everything you need and my daughter always wants the “piggy buns” (custard steamed buns). Really can’t fault the hotel and they even gave a free cake for a birthday.
