Op de laatste dag van mijn reis naar Shanghai verbleef ik in het Jinmen Hotel in het stedelijk gebied, maar toen ik aankwam, werd ik overweldigd door de servicegerichte houding van de receptie. Ik boekte twee tweepersoonskamers, checkte in met een paar dozen van bagage, en regelde zelfs een kamer om de trap op en af te gaan. Toen ik zag dat er niemand was om te helpen, vroeg ik een lange mannelijke receptioniste bij de receptie en kreeg een antwoord dat de slechtste kamer die je geboekt hebt zo is, of je kunt geld toevoegen 💰 om de kamer te upgraden, ik ben er echt van overtuigd, dit Dit soort houding, een hotel kijkt vanaf de voorkant naar de receptie, dit soort houding is niet eens een 5-sterrenhotel, maar de binnenkant van de kamer is niet slecht, de oude man moet eigenlijk de trap op en af lopen met de koffer, de volgende keer dat ik daar ga, zal ik niet weer boeken, ik hoop dat de handelaar er aandacht aan besteedt, moet je nog steeds zijn op het podium als je zo goed spreekt?

The location was excellent with many local food around the corner. It is a historic hotel but amenities is obviously lacking. There is no climate control. We are wearing t-shirts and shorts in room otherwise the heat is unbearable. The cleanliness is acceptable for the areas that are usually accessible. However for other areas, there will be dust and dirt, which is difficult for sensitive sinus sufferers.

The furniture became a bit old comparing to what it was years ago when I stayed in this hotel
But still is a very nice Italian baroque style
Location is very good , close to almost anywhere
I personally like this marriage between the East and the west ( Italian architecture of 20 century in the heart of Asian beautiful city of Shanghai)

Good place to stay, the hotel attendant didnt vacuum the room. The old man security duty at night is very nice and accomodating.

location is very good, it is along part of Nanjing West Road
but my room is right next to the "servicing catering" room, very noisy in the night

Air conditioning temperature not turned on or set too high, the room felt hot. Cigarette smoke smell. Room light too dim.
Plus is very good location to People’s Square and Nanjing Road.

Hotel is just right across the metro, good location. Breakfast quality was excellent for families - fried rice, porridge in the morning. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly too.
