Perfect for solo travellers who wants personal space and affordability.

The place has an interesting proposal, rooms feel Like lofts with a very industrial atmosphere. Very cool design. There are a few problems with it though, the rooms is rather cold, heating is minimal and we were all freezing during the night. The hotel doesn’t offer any kind of bavarage or food and the location being quite removed from most shops makes it not very convenient. Very good location for visiting the Shanghai art biennal or any other exhibition at the power station. During the day you can find a couple of restaurants and cafes open, but at night your best bet is ordering. They do allow you to sit at the lobby to eat. Breakfast is weird. I would stay there again if visiting the power station but definitely in a less cold time of the year.

went for a 3d2n stay in an XL LOFT - enjoyed!! the hotel doesnt provide free breakfast and have to order seperately (RMB48 with a coffee provided). if you want a better food option and dont mind travelling - book a didi to nearest mall and have the local cuisine is better. loved the cute and rugged details in the room, all necessary amenities are provided in the room except there is no gym facility in the hotel; it's clean and a bunch of young polite staff. Teamlab shanghai is just a stone throw away. It is located near to the bund area and honestly, a very good jogging trail located nearby so if you are a runner, do explore this gem! do take note that it is not located in city centre, not much eateries around and at night it can be a rather quiet / dark neighborhood, not bustling area like Xintiandi / Nanjing street etc. therefore if u enjoy peacefulness and rugged stay with affordable room rate - do give it a try!

Really nice hotel, big room, amazing service, just a little bit out of everything, but quick ride with didi to the center.

Lovely big contemporary style room. Very very clean and comfortable with good detailing. One of the best loft based hotel rooms i lived. Like style of the room. Reception staff was quick and efficient in checking in. Would surely stay here again when have another chance.

Although the location is not that convenient compared with others Hotel in City Centre but their unique style of LOFT layout is worth giving a try. Besides, the service provides by Wendy is excellent

The design is stylish but nothing else. It is quite far from everything except for a few art spaces. Not much to do around the location
