"Excellent hotel, lovely rooms, friendly staff, yummy food. We stayed with a group of friends to ski Sunday - Saturday and it was a terrific experience. Very comfortable bed, WONDERFUL shower, fabulous sauna/steam facilities. We dined together at a large table at the end of the restaurant each morning and night. The only slight downside was the menu didn't change very much each day, however the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The breakfast buffet has many options and the chef is happy to make eggs just for you if you'd prefer. The pastries were excellent. The ski locker room is handy and once you figure out how to ski back it's very conveniently located. Highly recommend."

"Hotel zonder spot, voor het huis decoratie modern - eetkamer oude stijl - voorzieningen zeer goed, uitstekende staat, buiten gebieden goed bewaard Voor mij was de keuze van voedsel of het gebrek aan - salades een beetje mel, geen aardappel salade, Een avond kregen we kippenvleugels - niet eens huisgemaakt, en ze waren koud. De vorige avond hadden we een keuze van kippenvleugels die veel mooier waren. De keuze op de hoofdweg werd één avond verdubbeld - kalf als beginner en ook de hoofdweg, een andere avond een multivitamine schot die niet anders was dan het maken van je eigen op het ontbijt. Foto's van de maaltijden waren inbegrepen - in de meeste cursussen waren uitstekende personeel zeer aangenaam - maar in het echte hotel ontbrak net de X-factor waar we elders woonden."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The hotel is positioned at the beginning of Selva and across the road from the bus stop. The local bus goes to Santa Cristina and Ortisei. The centre of Selva and the Ciampinoi Cable Car are within easy walking distance. Breakfast was superb and included lots of healthy options. Complimentary afternoon tea and pastries were served every afternoon. There is also free parking either directly outside the hotel or in a nearby secure parking area. We definitely recommend this hotel."

"Despite a few imperfections (the cocktails were overpriced, lol), this was a special place to stop for a few days. The pool is SO MUCH FUN. I also really enjoyed the gym. It was big, lovely to be in, and well stocked. We had dinner in both restaurants and actually enjoyed the simpler one more. It had a KILLER salad bar, easily my favorite meal of a week+ trip. Breakfasts are delicious, too. No regrets!"

Daarom vonden wij de prijs te hoog voor de kwaliteit. Personeel is vriend, locatie prima. Wel steile weg naar centrum. Restaurant Freida is een aanbeveling!"

"Het is een goed gelegen hotel voor skiën met schoon en comfortabele kamers en mooie lobbygebieden en een prachtig uitzicht op de privé-schieten. Maar het hotel miste het merk op verschillende manieren en ik zou niet terugkomen of aanbevelen aan vrienden. - parkeerplaats is niet inbegrepen als u via trip.com boekt, maar u leert erover wanneer u uitcheckt. - zeer onflexibele boeking (we probeerde boeking te veranderen voor dezelfde data, maar met verschillende kamers en ze waren zo onredelijk en onconsistent. Ze hielden zo onaangename smaak) - Het hotel is zeer verwarrend en vervelend als je zoveel apparatuur draagt... gezien de lay-out, ik stel voor dat iemand in het hotel helpt de gasten hun weg naar binnen en uit te vinden. - u voelt zich zeer druk om de voorzieningen in een hotel als dit te gebruiken... bijvoorbeeld de sauna, parkeerplaats... en u moet reserveren om alleen het zwembad te gebruiken... er is wassen vloeistof, maar geen wastablet. Kleine details, maar het maakte een beetje verschil voor mijn ervaring. - De voorkantdienst was niet consistent. Sommigen waren erg handig en sommige waren erg koud."

"Dit is een charmant hotel met mooie, comfortabele, goed uitgeruste kamers en gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. We hebben vooral het zwembad en het spa-gebied genoten, en profiteren van ontspannen daar na de ochtends wandelen. Het ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk met veel opties."

"If you are people who like trekking, the location of the structure is very good since it is about half an hour from many Dolomite passes. Fabulous indoor pool, clean and very large. The outdoor one is a little small for the amount of people it can accommodate but still very clean. Another positive note: upon our arrival we had a free drink plus aperitif. Now I move on to the sore points. The hospitality of those who manage the structure needs to be reviewed, very friendly in appearance but almost to the point of seeming fake. The proof was that upon our departure they did not even greet us even though we had passed in front of them. As for cleanliness, let's draw a veil over it. Our room was literally dirty, carpet with food residues left by those who had previously occupied the room and what in my opinion is very serious, the bed linen had not been changed upon our arrival. The bed was full of hair and fur; whether they were from previous guests or from those who take care of cleaning I do not know, the fact is that the bed linen was not clean. As for the general cleanliness, let's forget it, we spent a week with the windowsill of our bathroom dirty because it was never cleaned by those responsible. Given the price that this structure requires, I believe that cleanliness is one of the fundamental things and absolutely not to be underestimated. It's a shame because overall the structure is very beautiful and quite renovated but I certainly wouldn't go back."

"A lovely hotel, good location, junior suite was excellent for 2 persons. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was very chaotic when the hotel was full. The breakfast room was just not big enough for the number of people who were all trying to get out skiing by 9am. There was no toaster available, just a sandwich maker type grill, which did not toast bread! Evening meal had to be chosen the night before or at breakfast and was a 5 course affair which was very good but could take up to 3 hours! The boot room was excellent, the bar was great, service could be a little slow but great cocktails are available. Overall, it was a great holiday."

"My wife and I loved Hotel Nives - located in Selva di Val Gardena which was a great base to explore the West Dolomiti hikes (i.e. Resciesa, Seceda and Alpe di Siusi). The facilities and the room were very nice, clean and well designed, and the restaurant was top notch (amazing breakfast and wonderful dinners); the staff were especially awesome (friendly yet professional). It's a boutique hotel and not low cost, and maybe the atmosphere could be too quiet for some, but we loved it. It's also located right off the main Street in Selva so you can just walk around town or catch the (free) city bus. We'd love to go back, maybe in the winter next time."

"Gelegen in Selva di Val Gardena, 1,5 uur van het treinstation Bolzano met bus, 30 minuten naar Ortisei Piazza St Antonio. Goed uitzicht op de bergen van het hotel. Goed Europees ontbijt. De gastheer is zeer vriendelijk, zorgvuldig en handig. Goede locatie om Dolomites te ontdekken."

Het hotel ligt dicht bij de skilift en het personeel en de service in het hele hotel was voorbeeldig. Er is een uitstekende spa-zone en verwarmd zwembad. Dank u nogmaals voor het maken van onze verblijf zo memorabel en Max, u bent een ster!"

"De kamers zijn groot en comfortabel, veel met balkons met prachtig uitzicht. Zwembad, sauna en spa waren geweldig na een lange dag van skiën. We hadden een half-board optie en het diner elke avond was 4 cursussen maaltijd, met een heerlijk en innovatieve menu elke avond. Hotel is aan de kant van de slip, vlak naast de skischool dus morgens droppen voor de kinderen was perfect. Skikamer is zeer technisch en u kunt een lift naar de wandelingen. De aandacht van ons hele verblijf was het personeel. Iedereen was welkom, vriendelijk, geduldig (we waren een zeer grote groep) en helpend. Natuurlijk zal terugkeren."

"We have had the most delightful stay here. This b&b is cozy and bursting with charm. It’s owned by a local family and you can tell they have poured their heart into every detail. The lobby and rooms are full of art by local artisans, and it’s refreshing to stay somewhere with so much heritage. The views cannot be beat. The hotel is in a very quiet location and a stone’s throw from the ski lift. The south facing rooms on the west side of the building have a particularly smashing view of the mountains. There are also fabulous amenities, such as hot tubs, lots of outdoor seating, a trampoline and a spa, yet the hotel is still small and intimate. Breakfast is an amazing spread complete with soft boiled eggs, fresh squeezed, juices, and bread with fresh honeycomb. We’ve also opted to eat dinner in every night and it’s always an impeccable 4 course meal. The owners even take the effort to switch out the table scape and theme every night. I’m so impressed by the level of love and the attention to detail that they have for this place."

The room was very clean and comfortable with details such as a choice of pillows and automatic low lighting at night . Breakfast is a joy with a vast range of high quality food to suit all palettes. Half board is highly recommended as the five course tasting menu was fantastic.I especially enjoyed the opportunity to go hiking with the hotel guide, included in the hotel price. The Wellness Centre is lovely for relaxing after a day’s hiking or skiing.I shall be returning soon."
