"We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at this hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, from check-in to dinner service. One night we got back extremely late, yet the staff stayed waiting to serve us dinner. Special thanks go to Aisa, who looked after our dinners every evening. She was so attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. The room was a bit small and there's no pool, but it's a very cozy guesthouse. The hotel has an underground parking garage, though the entrance is quite small. The views from the first floor are absolutely beautiful. Right outside the hotel, you can hop on a cable car. This cable car takes you up, and from there it's just a 10-minute walk to the Dantercepies cable car. This route is a bit off the beaten path, but it takes you directly to the summit, and the scenery is breathtaking!"

"NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL! It was one of my favorite hotels in the world 15 years ago. But it is now a two to three start hotel. Because: The mother and father who were original owners have retired, and they were fabulous. The staff is not that great in customer service, and service levels are very weak. They are not training well, or not hiring the top tier staff. Front desk, bartenders, restaurant food for 1/2 board not good. The breaksfast foods were stale, they leave some of items uncovered out, and I saw them in the morning and at night. Thus, the marshmellows, and toppings are stale. The rooms are hot, they were hot in June and they are hot in October, I don't care that they are int he mountains, they should have air conditioning in a 5 start place. The spa used to be great, now, "We have a new sauna, but it is ONLY OPEN FROM 4-8." Exactly during dinner time. So, there goes my day of hangin out in a fancy spa and pool all day. The hotel room i had was huge, with a great view. Just becasue they have a michellin star restaurnat and a light in the closet, the vanity is made out of plastic and small, the shower, doens't have a proper door, so floor gets wet. The place used tto have free snacks at happy hour. Not anymore, there is a cost. It is no inexpensive for what you get, Stay in Ortessi, or somewhere else. The place used to have activites and people to take you on hikes as a group. They called for a guide to take me out and the cost was close the 300 dollars for a couple of hours. This shouldn't be a leading hotel of the world anymore. It needs to be torn down, and re-done, and new trained staff brought in. So sad!!! I've stayed at other leading hotels of the world and the hotels and staff are ten times better! Go to Lake Garda or Bologna leading hotels and see 5 star service. Don't go stay here, for the price and what you get- NOT WORTH IT! For two hundred dollars a night, I'd go back, but not for what I paid."

"Hotel is prima, ruime kamer maar mag wel iets gezelliger ingericht worden. Jammer dat er geen airco is, kamer is best wel warm nl. ook een minibar en koffie/thee zet mogelijkheid is er niet. Daarom vonden wij de prijs te hoog voor de kwaliteit. Personeel is vriend, locatie prima. Wel steile weg naar centrum. Restaurant Freida is een aanbeveling!"

"We hebben het mooiste verblijf hier gehad. Deze b&b is gezellig en breekt met charme. Het is eigendom van een lokale familie en je kunt zeggen dat ze hun hart in elk detail hebben gegooid. The lobby and rooms are full of art by local craftsmen, and it's refreshing to stay somewhere with so much heritage. The views cannot beat. The hotel is in a very quiet location and a stone's throw from the ski lift. De zuidelijke kamers aan de westkant van het gebouw hebben een bijzonder ruïnesachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Er zijn ook prachtige voorzieningen, zoals warme buizen, veel buitenstukken, een trampoline en een spa, maar het hotel is nog steeds klein en intim. Het ontbijt is een geweldige verspreiding vol met zachte gekoeld eieren, vers gemalen, sap en brood met vers honingcomb. We hebben ook gekozen om elke avond te eten en het is altijd een onaangename 4-cursus maaltijd. De eigenaren doen zelfs de inspanningen om de tafel en het thema elke nacht uit te schakelen. Ik ben zo beïnvloed door het niveau van liefde en de aandacht voor de details die ze hebben voor deze plek."

"I can only advise you not to go to this hotel or at least you should just hope you don't get hurt. I was unlucky enough to fall on a step that wasn't visible inside the spa and I broke my foot. I immediately reported the incident and was told that they didn't have accident insurance. I had to leave the next day to go to the hospital and get treatment. Their response was that we had to pay for at least a second night and in the end, after discussions, we had to pay the entire amount of 4 nights that we were supposed to stay. I can only advise you to stay away also because, if you get hurt, they will tell you that you insinuated that you had hurt yourself inside the hotel even when you entered on your own two feet and left limping."

"Hotel centrally located in the village. Hotel ok, nice bar/lounge area, bedrooms fairly basic, robes & slippers provided but toiletries are from dispensers (similar to Premier Inn style). Staff efficient but not particularly friendly except for the lovely waitress in the bar. Food menu unusual. The curtains in our room didn't cover all the windows so woken early. Didn't realise there were some blinds as no information advising this, only found out the day before we left! Good resort for skiing, so many runs."

"A fabulous place to stay! Beautiful, very conveniently located, great breakfast, and the absolute best dinner recommendations (the one time I went off on my own I regretted it!). But even more than that, when you have trouble, the owners are there for you. Our rental car broke down (not our fault!) on the morning we were leaving to drive to Cortina, literally 30 seconds after pulling out, and the innkeeper helped us every step of the way. The car breaking down was a bit of a nightmare and if it had happened in the twisty roads in the mountains could have been a disaster, but he did everything in his power to help us. Helped us with the entire towing process, phone calls in Italian to all the necessary people, proposing different ways to get to different places, and making sure he had a room for us because we ended up having to stay an extra night because the car broke down on a Sunday. He turned a really difficult situation into one we were able to manage and even laugh about now. We will be eternally grateful. Our vacation could well have been ruined, but he made sure it was not. Thank you!!!! If you stay here, make sure to eat at the restaurant right next door. We ate there twice, and we NEVER repeat restaurants on vacation. So delicious. Ask him where to go for pizza - it's only a few minutes walk away located in an Ice Rink of all places, and just wonderful. And make sure to talk to him about hiking in Nepal. You won't be disappointed."

"This year, after 3 years of going to Selva di Val Gardena in September, we changed accommodation and went to the Monte 44 hotel. With us we had our two poodles, the spacious, clean and welcoming room with parquet, had a comfortable terrace. The breakfast was very well prepared and made with local products. The SPA is not very large but welcoming, with an external and heated hydromassage tub, offering a pleasant view of the Selva valley. The owner was very kind and available for explanations and advice on things to see. In conclusion, recommended"
