"The hotel sits in the old part of Scuol in an ancient building and this is a nice thing. However the restructuring of the interior spaces made the structure quite anonymous. In spite of the restructuring process no elevator has been built as well as no air conditioning system: Scuol is 1200 meters high, not 1400 as the person at the reception told us, and the meter on the window of our room marked a 39.2 C as maximal temperature reached during our stay. This is hardly acceptable in a 4 star hotels that charged 760 CHF for a small double room for 2 nights. Such an hotel should have at least a nice swimming pool. In reality the pool is available but is a public pool where the number of people present and the round shape of the two main pools render swimming all but impossible. Last but not least: the pool can be reached after a 500-600 meter (and 85 steps) walk. On the positive side, the quality of some of the breakfast food (smoked saibling, cheeses) was good."

"Dit kleine hotel is perfect voor uw vakantie. Het is dicht bij busjes en trainen zodat u gemakkelijk het hele gebied te bereiken. De kamers zijn groot en comfortabel. Het eten is uitstekende en het ontbijt geeft u de perfecte start van de dag en bevat ook een lunchpakket."

"De kamers zijn prachtig, we hadden een kamer met een grote vierkante naaimachine, het was prachtig om in de naaimachine te naaien en vervolgens naar het balkon te gaan en koel uit in de frisse nachtlucht. De kamer was zeer ruime en de wandeling in de douche was ook fantastisch. Het ontbijt was zeer mooi, de kwaliteit was zeer goed. Het beste wat over de verblijf was het personeel, allemaal super vriendelijk en zeer handig. In de receptie, de lobby, het restaurant, zowel bij het ontbijt als bij het diner, waren alle mensen altijd zo aardig."

Badehotel Belvair ★★★

"Belvair is een goede keuze om een paar ontspannen dagen te verblijven in school. Het hotel biedt wat tegen een aantrekkelijke prijs. De ambiance is rustig, omdat de meeste gasten reeds in de pensioenleeftijd zijn. Het grootste voordeel van Belvair is natuurlijk de directe lift naar Bogn Engiadina, terwijl je in de rest van de Belvedere familie een lijn moet gaan en ook trapjes moet stijgen. Ons kamer was comfortabel, de badkamer is zeer functioneel en de kamer schoonmaken onbeleefd. Ik heb ook waardering voor mijn wens om een kamer in de bovenste verdieping is voldaan. Het ontbijtbuffet was goed gesorteerd, het werd ook regelmatig gevuld, alleen de positie in een nijl is niet optimaal, omdat de gasten zelf in de kruising komen. Helaas werd mijn toenmalige input om een tweede koffiemachine te kopen niet uitgevoerd. Tips: om niet altijd te staan hoeft alleen maar een pot koffie aan de tafel te bestellen, wat je ook kunt doen met eieren eten. In tegenstelling tot onze bezoek in 2023 heeft het diner niet meer zo gepraat, maar we vonden het niet meer zo goed afgestemd en georganiseerd. Nieuw kan je bij geboekte halfpension genieten van een dine rond en je kunt ook eten tegen vooraanmelding zonder extra kosten in Belvedere, Nam Thai en Guardaval, wat een echte culinaire verrijking is. Alles in het algemeen is Belvair een zeer oncomplicaat en ontspannen hotel. Alle medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk, sympathiek en wat er opvallend – velen houden het hotel al lang trouw. Zoals trouwens veel gasten, moet er iets zijn!"

"This is a most beautiful hotel. We came in on a cycling tour. We were cold, wet and to be welcomed by Christophe and his family was such a blessing. This Hotel only rstes three stars however, in our opinion, it should rate five stars. The rooms are superb, especially the ones with balconies the beds are the most comfortable. The cleanliness of this hotel is exceptional and what a wonderful breakfast. Should we ever Return this is the hotel we would stay at. Christophe was so helpful with telling us how to see the town where to go where to catch buses etc. Even though we only stayed one night we wish we could've stayed more. We will never forget this experience. Thank you Christophe and your beautiful family."
