"Ik heb veel van de b&b gedraaid, vooral in Sicilië, maar dit was het ergste in absolute termen . Voordat we er zijn, belden we 4 keer geen antwoord, op dat moment belen we met een ander nummer ..... antwoordt onmiddellijk. Stuur een bericht hoe in te gaan (natuurlijk eigenaar nooit gezien) gereserveerd voor 7 dagen op de derde we moesten weg van de onvoldoende airconditioner met 40 graden leek te zitten in een magnetron oven onvoldoende schoonheid ademde het stof Stoppen sinds 1900,ontbijt in de hal,zoals de eigenaar het noemde, maar de hal NN had niets ....natuurlijk meer dan 40 graden met twee kralen en een paar koekjes in een kopje filmomhuld. Verrukt vakantie!!!!"

Great location and Donnalucata is real off the beaten track Sicily with lovely beaches and plenty of local eateries in the vicinity of the hotel. Santo and his staff could not have been more charming or helpful in every way. Nice pool and private off road parking. "This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had, in over 3 decades of frequent travel for work and leisure. The owners of the hotel and the entire staff are genuinely welcoming and kind. Cinzia and Dario (owners) go out of their way to support their guests in any way required, from car rentals to booking events and restaurants. The hotel is a renovated farmhouse and exudes a rustic charm. It has been decorated with sobriety and good taste in a rustic/industrial style. The location is excellent, with many important sites including Siracusa, Marzememi, and Catania, within an hour's drive. In the immediate surroundings, there are some lovely villages, including the nearby Scicli. Beaches also abound. A car is a must, however, because the nearest village - while only 2 km. away - is nevertheless not reachable on foot due to road/traffic conditions. Breakfast is offered every morning and consists in a selection of pastries, breads, cheeses, meats, frittata, spreads, homemade jams, etc. The bread is baked fresh daily and is delicious. It also comes in various forms, from rolls to focaccia and more. I highly recommend Roccaseta if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet place in natural surroundings, which nevertheless has access to the main sites, cities and towns of South-eastern Sicily."
