Trekker Glamping

Beautiful stay in the middle of nature. The rooms (I stayed in a Trekking suite) are gorgeous, fully equipped and very spacious. The staff is great, very friendly and the restaurant/food very tasty! Besides the very loud chirping of the Chichurras during the night (but hey that‘s only nature…) I had a lovely relaxing time 🙏 Will be back for sure…

My husband and I had an incredible stay at Trekker Glamping. We booked the Immersion Natural package, and it exceeded all our expectations. Everything was seamlessly planned and flowed effortlessly from one experience to another, making the entire journey feel natural and stress-free. The ceremonies were absolutely wonderful—safe, dignified, and private. As first-timers participating in indigenous ceremonies, we were a bit unsure of what to expect, but the experience was deeply meaningful and transformative. We are so glad we did it and will absolutely do it again. The shamans Manual and Pablo were exceptional, bringing authenticity and a deep sense of care and kindness to the experiences. The owner, Diana, is amazing. She reassured us throughout the process and led fantastic yoga, meditation and breathwork sessions that added to the relaxation. During the kambo ceremony, Diana and Jason were incredibly supportive, helping us feel calm and at ease. A special mention to Mia, who is a fantastic interpreter - and person. She made everything seamless and truly enhanced the connection throughout the ceremonies. The glamping setup itself is stunning—perfectly blending comfort and nature. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and offered jaw-dropping views of the surrounding nature—a perfect retreat after each day's activities. The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and cleansed. By the end of our stay, we felt like we were leaving as friends rather than just guests If you're looking for a serene escape with great amenities and a meaningful experience, I highly recommend Trekker Glamping and the Immersion Natural package. It was a fantastic all-around experience, and we will definitely be back!

I love this place, the cabin was great, the view, especially the sunset is excellent, and the food was superb, I’ve traveled a lot and every meal was 5 star quality. They sent a driver to pick us up from Santa Marta and then their driver took us all the way to Tayrona where we stayed next, very helpful. The only thing to know is accessibility, you gotta take a 4x4 up a bit of a climb (their driver picks you up) so just know what your preferences are, if you’re looking to be in and out to just walk around the town and don’t plan on spending much time at the hotel then be aware of it, but other than that one aspect it’s a great spot.

We really loved our spacious suite in the middle of the jungle with an amazing view. We could relax either on the terrace, on the hanging net, or in the jacuzzi. It was definitely a great experience to disconnect from the outside world as the wi-fi in the suite was not working, the only way to reach the outside world was to connect in the restaurant in the main "building". It is a place to visit at least once in life (I would definitelycome back if I went to Minca again). The downside was for me a bit "cheap" system where everything seemed to be included, and it then appeared on our bill, such as welcome drink, marshmallows, coffee, transport from and to the village.. It is strictly forbidden to bring own snacks and drinks (we had to sign a document where we confirmed that we didnt bring anything with us), there are some snacks and tea in the suite, however it was not clear to us whether it was included and there was nowhere list with prices. The food was average, nothing special, unfortunately not many options close by. It seems to be fancy cuisine, but good local dishes would be much more appreciated. We had much better food a bit higher up in one of the other hostels where the environment was less luxurious but more inviting to socialize with other travelers.

Superb Glamping experience! The huge, beautifully designed and well equipped pods are just as good in reality as they look in the pictures. Far more enjoyable than most top-end hotel rooms. Enjoy the stunning view from the pod’s private terrace, or the comfy bean bags on a raised indoor platform, or from the luxurious big bed. Who needs curtains when the view is this good and no one can look in? Marvellous dawn chorus (we also heard holwler monkeys - sounding like rushing wind). Good views too from the well placed jaccuzi / pool. Tasty meals in the equally well designed bar / restaurant with reasonably priced wine. Enjoyable local walks with lots to see. We appreciated the knowledge and enthusiasm of our bird-guide, Daniel (28 species within 100 minutes). A special mention too to Jonathan for his warm welcome and to waitress Vanessa, who took excellent care of us at meal times and spoke good, clear English. Be prepared for steep, uneven paths to and from some of the pods. Take care and take time. Note that each pod’s bathroom requires a few outdoor steps. If, like us, you opt to walk up to the site from Minca with back-packs, it’s do-able, but be prepared for a long steep climb. The location on Google Maps is correct but the Komoot location is wrong. Overall, our two night stay has been one of the highlights of our time in lovely Colombia. Not cheap, but well worth the cost. Thank you to everyone at Trekker Glamping.

Trekker Glamping is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a beautiful property with even more gorgeous views over looking the mountains and valley. The cabins are clean and luxurious. Travel to and from Glamping was seamless. They quickly organize a shuttle for you to get up and down the hill whenever you like. I have seen some reviews stating the food is "just ok" which is absolutely bananas! The food is outstanding!! We had breakfast and dinner on-site each day, and we could not have been more pleased with the variety of choices and flavors. The food is delicious and is some of the best we had while in Colombia. They also have an absolutely killer happy hour with very tasty drinks. They had excellent on-site and tour options available to guests. My spouse had a massage which she loved and is exactly what was needed after some long trekking. Even more, the staff on-site are so very kind and caring. Wendy frequently checked in on us and made sure our stay was perfect. She made us feel like such valued guests. She's wonderful. This is truly one of my favorite stays in the over 20+ countries that I have been to. I hope that everyone has the chance to stay here at least once. It is perfect place to unwind, relax, and experience the beauty of the local area.
