The owners recommended a wonderful local restuarant. One problem however was that the Trip Advisor address was not correct so we needed to call them to get the location. "

"If you are looking for accomodation around Salve and appreciate style, comfort and fabulous food then you really must stay here! You won’t be disappointed. It’s absolutely beautiful, the owners Salvatore and Manuela are the perfect hosts, helpful, informative and entertaining! They are clearly very passionate about their business. The breakfast here has to be the best we’ve had anywhere, beautiful fresh ingredients, lots of variety and Salvatore keen to cook any type of eggs you want. His omelettes were amazing, perfectly cooked and interesting fillings. Palazzo Frangipane really is a hidden gem, from the street you’d have no idea what lays behind the wooden door. It opens to reveal a perfect oasis of calm and style. So many tiny details cleverly put together, from the dining furniture, tastefully decorated bedrooms, to the pretty gardens and pool area. We were staying in the upstairs terrace room which has a wonderful view over neighbouring rooftops and to the sea. The sun is on the terrace all afternoon and has comfortable seating allowing peaceful privacy, and a spectacular sunset. In summary, you must stay here! We will definitely be coming back and will arrange our next Puglia visit to include Salve again. Thank you both so much, we had a fabulous time!"

"We stayed here for five days, and it was a perfectly located and throughout, a very welcoming and warm atmosphere ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ After a really good night's sleep, I was pleasantly surprised to find a small but perfectly formed amount of well-buttered scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet. And they also had plenty of homemade cookies, regional and also lactose and/or gluten free. I would have never expected this in such a small, family run hotel — thank you! And on the last day, they even had boiled eggs, and once the scrambled eggs were finished, and before we could discover this, they asked us if we liked any and brought us a huge bowl of fresh scrambled eggs. I am fully aware this is not really part of the standard Italian breakfast; also, serving cheese, ham, and salami, they really went out of their way. The whole stay, every member of staff was so kind, helpful, and nice. They also even sent us a WhatsApp when we were at the beach and forgot to switch off the electronic do not disturb sign for the room! I would always return to this place! Thank you for such a great hospitality!"
