"Just fantastic in every way. The hotel is beautifully appointed, luxurious but not overdone, with a wonderful alpine feel. The rooms were very nice, quiet, and plenty of space. The standout feature though was the staff. Everyone from the restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, spa, driver, and many others could not be nicer, more helpful, called me by name, and made me feel completely welcome. The highest compliment I can pay is that I’d go out of my way to stay here again."

"Very disappointed by the way I was treated! The hostel's webpage states that customers will be informed about the contract terms when booking over the phone. However, this did not happen in my case. I received a booking confirmation with the terms and conditions attached, revealing that cancellation is not possible at all. Upon my inquiry and pointing out that I should have been informed about the cancellation policy over the phone, the hostel casually responded that they do not inform callers about it, as otherwise, "we would be on the phone all the time." So that's the level of adherence to self-set rules in Saas Fee... No surprise, I guess, since that way of handling customers conveniently saves the hostel's time AND hurts the customer through the collection of hefty cancellation fees. Even after extensive back and forth with staff, there was neither accommodation nor flexibility. At all. Don't book if you expect any sort of comprehension from the staff."

"Very nice hotel, super well located at the foot of the facilities. The rooms are spacious, practical and very clean. The staff was professional and polite. The breakfast buffet was very good and complete as one would expect."

"It was simply perfect. Martine looked after us so well, along with the whole team. Everything was absolutely spot on. Dinner beautiful, service exceptional ( Benjamin so friendly and funny) facilities immaculate and so appreciated especially the pool after skiing 👍🏻. Saas Fee is heaven on earth and this hotel is a perfect place to stay and enjoy it. It’s central too. Our suite had the most jaw dropping views and was beautifully appointed. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and and would like to say a big thank you for an unforgettable holiday for myself and my family. I have stayed in Saas Fee many times in the past in all of the very best hotels ( including the Walliserhof !) but the suite we had at The Schweitzerhof tops the lot ! "We verbleven onlangs in dit hotel en hadden een gemengde ervaring. Het hoogtepunt van ons verblijf was absoluut de vriendelijke receptioniste, die ons vanaf het moment van aankomst een warm welkom gaf. De hygiëne van het hotel liet echter veel te wensen over. Onze kamer had erg oud meubilair en was behoorlijk stoffig. Tot onze verbazing vonden we plukjes hondenhaar in de kamer, terwijl we zelf geen hond hebben. Toen we dit aan het personeel meldden, werd het direct aangepakt en de kamer schoongemaakt. We hebben genoten van het mooie uitzicht vanuit onze kamer. De locatie van het hotel was ook gunstig, waardoor het gemakkelijk was om de omgeving te verkennen. Al met al, hoewel het personeel erg aardig was en het ontbijt heerlijk, hoop ik dat het hotel de hygiëne kan verbeteren om de algehele gastervaring te optimaliseren."

"We were very disappointed by the welcome. The Marmotte hotel looks like a family hotel but the customer is not welcomed, except to pay. In the restaurant, if the food was good, the waitresses are not courteous and the boss is downright unpleasant. The room certainly has a balcony but no view. The decor is cheap and the bathrooms are old. Service is cheap and not friendly. To avoid"
