"Ongelooflijk! Een zogenaamd legitieme langeafstandsbus liet ons langs de kant van de weg in de steek... Eerst zeiden ze dat ze ons naar het stadscentrum zouden brengen, toen naar het busstation en uiteindelijk naar een tankstation langs de weg. We konden geen taxi krijgen... Die twee chauffeurs waren echt vreselijk; ze wilden de natuurlijke luchtinlaat de hele rit niet eens aanzetten. Omdat we erom vroegen, hadden ze ons in het vizier – een verhaal uit de jaren 80, maar we maken het mee in Tibet! Gelukkig namen we contact op met het hotel en stuurden ze een auto om ons op te halen nadat ze ervan hadden gehoord. De eerste foto toont de wegwerpslippers van het hotel; ze zijn erg comfortabel. Ik zal ze thuis weer dragen. Deze twee details laten zien dat het hotel zeer attent is op de bedrijfsvoering. Voor de rest voldoet het aan de sterrenclassificatie en biedt het een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding."

"My Tibet trip isn't over yet; I've been here for almost 10 days. This is the best hotel I've stayed in Tibet so far, hands down. Perhaps because I upgraded using my membership points, the room was huge, they provided welcome fruit, and the view of the surrounding countryside was beautiful. It's a pity it was just a one-night stopover, as I was going to Mount Everest the next day. If I have the chance to visit Shigatse again, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. The hotel's overall decor is quite elegant, and you can tell from the amenities that it aims for a star-rated hotel experience. The atmospheric ventilation is excellent; I slept very comfortably at night. The mattress is from our own brand, Mengbaihe, so it felt like sleeping at home. My husband even wanted to buy the hotel's pillows the next day, and he brought them to the lobby, but the receptionist said they weren't for sale. 🤣 There's also a hyperbaric oxygen chamber in the lobby; you can try it if you have time. The separate wet and dry areas are very convenient. The hotel's front desk service was also good, and the breakfast was plentiful. Highly recommended."
