Nella casa a due piani i proprietari - davvero molto gentili, disponibili e prodighi di consigli e informazioni - abitano al piano superiore e sotto hanno ricavato 5 camere funzionali, recenti e ben arredate, seppure in modo semplice. Il luogo è all’inizio di un piccolo villaggio, in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Vicino ci sono due ristoranti, ma a 10 minuti c’è il lago con varie soluzioni. Curata e buona la prima colazione. Se non si cerca una esperienza particolarmente elegante o di charme, questa location è funzionale, pulita e curata. Costo 101€ per una notte in due in una camera doppia con soppalco per accomodare altre 3 persone (da noi non usato). Lo consiglio.

I believe most people travel to Valensole for the lavender fields and this B&B is a perfect base for such activity. Located just outside the main village, the B&B has ample parking and peaceful green surroundings. Our stay of 2 nights took place during the recent heatwave across the region and this B&B doesn't have air conditioning. Even then we did not face too much difficulty. A standing fan/cooler was provided and that did the job for us. Our room was on the smaller side but the bathroom was very specious. Room had TV, safe and tea/coffee facility. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast, which was included in our rate, was good but not great. Staff attitude were very nice and all of them were helpful and polite. The reason I can not give this place the full marks is we encountered the lady owner of the B&B when we reached the hotel early and wanted to find out if we can drop off our luggage. Unfortunately the lady was dismissive and impolite to say the least. She even informed us that this place is her home and not a hotel. Fortunately we did not have to interact with her again during our stay and that was a blessing. The other problem we encountered was the Wifi didn't work for most of the time during our stay. Incidentally, if you stay here then be careful while walking to the hotel from car park area. The water sprinkler system gets switched on at all hours. Even with these issues we overall enjoyed our stay and the restaurant deserves a special mention for their food quality.

This reconditioned farm house is outside of Moustiers. The farm has wisteria on the staircase and the climbing roses were just about in bloom. The room was quite large and had a view of lavender fields. Care has clearly been taken with the decor. Sylvie, the owner was quite helpful with suggestions for hikes or bicycle rides. There was also a good breakfast provided.

Even with these issues we overall enjoyed our stay and the restaurant deserves a special mention for their food quality.
