"The rooms are dirty, with screws everywhere. Rooms without mirrors for women. The shared bathrooms are too removed from the room. You douche and the water is out of the pad. The menu puts what they want without asking you, the bottles of water warms you, the food is very bad. The bad service. The bathrooms of the bar smell as a shit and piss of days ago, without toilet paper. It takes a lot to meet you. I don't repeat nor die. A money thrown into the bastard."

Het is op een mooie rustige plek, ongeveer twee kilometer van Ribadesella... de behandeling van alle personeel van het prachtige hotel... het hele hotel... het hele hotel... We hebben een nachtje geslapen. We hebben een spa- en ontbijtbuffet gehad. Ik heb niets verkeerds te zeggen over dit hotel. Dat we daar niet eten."

"The Don Pepe was immaculate inside and outside. The garden area was immaculate. I dont know why there are no tables in the garden at the front sea view area as we would have definitely had a few drinks there. We booked a seaview room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Water provided. We didn't eat there but probably should have as it was quite a walk into the town although there were some bars and restaurants close to the hotel. An excellent 3 star hotel. Will definitely stay there again."

"Fantastisch 4 nachten verblijf in dit unieke hotelgebouw. Het uitzicht op bergen en strand van onze 2e verdieping kamer was prachtig. Schattig grote badkamer met een loopafstand in de douche en alle voorzieningen zoals verwacht, behalve geen thee-/koffiefaciliteiten in de kamer die schaamteloos was. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en het uitzicht van het restaurant is verbazingwekkend dit hotel is perfect gelegen open in de promenade naast het strand. We hebben op een nacht in het restaurant gegeten, wat niet geweldig en zeer duur was en we vonden andere plaatsen beter geprijsd en meer keuze. Ook het hotel zou profiteren van een lounge/bar gebied, omdat er geen plaats was om te zitten en een drankje buiten het ontbijt te krijgen."

"Everything here deserves 5 stars, and I rarely say that. I'd give more if I could! We were served a spectacular and generous grilled octopus, resting on a bed of delicious mashed potatoes – just enough to complement, not overshadow, the star of the dish. Accompanied by cherry tomatoes that were a burst of flavor, and presented beautifully, truly matching the quality of the plate. The soupy rice with scarlet prawns and clams was incredible. The clams were exquisite and the scarlet prawn was cooked to perfection! The rice was very flavorful, generous, freshly made, and also perfectly cooked. We devoured everything as if we hadn't eaten in ages. It was tough to make room for dessert, but I had a feeling it would be just as spectacular... A sublime cheesecake, I'm speechless! The atmosphere was very pleasant. A glass-enclosed dining area offered sea and mountain views, with a wonderful breeze coming through while the doors were open. Cuban music, Serrat... playing at just the right volume to be enjoyable without hindering conversation. The service was also excellent; both Orlando and the friendly waitress attended to us wonderfully, and both were very pleasant. I highly recommend it, even though I almost don't want it to get too crowded, because a place like this deserves to be shared. Whenever I'm in the area, I know for sure that my plans will revolve around coming back to eat here."
