Hotels in Princeton

Poor first impressions. We showed up for a one night stay. First off the main door is broken and everyone has to squeeze thru. With luggage it’s a chore We arrive at the checkin desk to find an associate sitting behind on her phone. She greets us and we indicate we are here to check in. She tells us she’s the only one here and she’s on her break. She will be with us in (checks watch) 10 minutes We literally sat there watching her stare at her phone for 10 minutes. At which point she jumps up and is like “ok I can help you now” I get that people are entitled to breaks. But how do you have ONE person manning the front desk area? I don’t fully blame her but it literally took her 72 seconds to check us in…. It’s a shame cause the location is convenient. Rooms are dated tho. From the outside it looks new and modern. Inside not so much.

The hotel was so comfy and cozy. The area was quiet and I was able to work remotely with no interruptions. The front desk staff - Ty and Katheryn were exceptional and so very helpful. We ate at the restaurant most evenings. The evening host at the restaurant were so kind and attentive. Benny and Sabina were fantastic. I would recommend this hotel for your next stay in the Princeton area. BTW - the cookies were awesome!

The room is comfortable and quite big. It is convenient to buy next to the hypermarket. The only disadvantage is that there is no breakfast provided. If you want to go to Washington, the CP value of living here is quite high.

Breakfast is good, the room is spacious, there is a small refrigerator and microwave, the hall can be connected to hot water, parking is free, the road at the door is a bit noisy, but we feel very tired every day, the price can be, to meet our basic needs

Damian in the front desk helps me to fix my issue in my recent visit. I come to this area once a while and this place is always one of my top options. I have once stayed here for more than 5 days and it is very helpful to have a kitchen so that I can buy some food and doing some simple cooking. Room is clean. In the most recent visit, I am in a rush and just booking a king bed and the next day, I need double bed when my son stay with me but there are no double bed available on the website, Damian helps me right away, very nice person. Actually the People I meet in the front desk are always very nice. Great hotel with this level price.

Stayed here one night and all I can say is that it was okay. The room was pretty big, the bathroom was pretty nice, and the bed and pillow was comfortable. But walking into the hotel, it feels like I've time traveled back to the 90s. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the restaurant to the rooms, is in dire need of some serious refurbishment. The elevators are at least 30 years old and are extremely slow. There is also just one elevator for the South Tower and we had to use the service elevator instead since it was much faster. Service was pretty meh. We were able to check in at 10AM which was nice but I didn't get the lake view room that I originally booked. Understandable, since I checked in early. But there was no acknowledgement from the lady at the check-in desk of my IHG membership - not so much as a thank you (frankly she seemed extremely disinterested). As a Platinum Elite I got 600 points as a welcome amenity, but this was communicated through an email instead of at check-in. Disappointing, but whatever. Our room was missing a bedsheet and the mattress cover had these horrible and disgusting stains on them. I called the front desk to let them know but since the housekeeping staff all went home, the best they could do was to give us fresh bedsheets which I put on myself. At least they were clean. Also, this is a conference hotel so I would expect a fair number of business travelers staying here, therefore the lack of adequate outlets/charging ports in the room was somewhat perplexing. The mini-fridge was extremely loud and emitted this high-pitched noise when it was on. The toilet was even louder - every time you flush it sounds like a rocket was launched. Breakfast at the restaurant was $20 per person for food you'd expect to see served complimentary at a Holiday Inn Express. Overpriced and subpar. The bacon was stone-cold. At least the service was great. All in all not the best Crowne Plaza I've stayed at. It was sufficient for one night, but I would not stay here any longer than that.

The room is large, can cook, wash, suitable for long stay, with tableware, microwave oven, induction cooker, double door refrigerator, dishwasher, everything is available, you can live at home, very good

The location is excellent, the surrounding Unicom and travel are very convenient, the hotel is very cost-effective Advantages: The room is elegant and generous, simple and heavy decoration, and has a strong sense of history. The facilities in the room are complete, with everything you need. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious

The hotel is very close to Princeton University, about 2miles. The hotel is a standard Holiday inn standard, nothing special. The only inconvenience is: around 5:30 pm, come from Alexander Rd of Priceton campus, turn left at Brunswick Pike intersection, traffic is not smooth, the navigation prompts 10 minutes, and I walked for almost half an hour. And this is the only way to the hotel. It is recommended not to go this way during this time.

Improvements made post pandemic! I stayed here often in 2019 and early 2020 my have noticed some improvements. The rooms seem to be fresher and a moldy smell from the past eliminated. The staff is great even though like most places they are overwhelmed but very accommodating. Definitely a go to hotel for business trips to the area.
