I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, perfect in every way. I paid extra for a sea view room which was lovely, and worth the extra money. Our room was not one which has been updated but it still looks good, and of a good, clean standard. The view from the window to the mountains is equally impressive. The hotel is situated at one end of Pollensa, a two minute walk from the beach with Spar shops very close by. The gardens, like the hotel are well maintained, and everywhere immaculate and spotlessly clean. There are 3 lifts which were always in constant use including cyclists loading bikes into them, and when one didn't work an engineer was soon there fixing it. Food is presented well, the kitchen spotless and all diets catered for, although the tea bags are not great (please invest in some decent tea bags such as Yorkshire tea!) Entertainment was a hoot with Roberto and his assistant who both kept the kids entertained with all sorts of activities from archery to yoga - all good fun. Evenings had guest singers, the Olly Murs tribute was again, superb! Extra thanks to Vanessa and Jaime on reception, and Elena - one of the management team - who looked after us marvellously we had an issue. The staff are all lovely, helpful and swift to whisk plates away at meal times. The pool is huge but not heated so was freezing but I suspect in summer would be lovely to take a dip in. Room keys are a little plastic tag attahed to your wrist band, which is a fantastic idea, and meant I didn't lose a key! As someone who suffers ADHD and can never remember where my key is this was a massive bonus!! When we stayed, the hotel was full of cyclists and mostly men of a certain age. When the lift engineer was there and none working we took the stairs. I have mid teenage children but was bowled out the way by inpatient lycra clad cyclists trying to get down stairs faster. They also nearly knocked a little girl flying trying to negotiate the stairs in front of us. They were not mindful of their language in front of young children, sentences peppered with profanities, clearly not bothered by their young audiences. It would be good for hotel staff to remind cycling guests about this being a family hotel when booking in and we don't all want to listen to them swearing! Things I found a challenge - the safe was a bit dodgy and unreliable but was reported to the hotel. When you arrive you get handed a card either a QR code on which tells you everything you need to know, which is OK if you can get it to work! I couldn't so spent the week not knowing half I should have. In my ideal world a paper print out would be useful for us dinosaurs. If Jet2 continue to use this wonderful hotel in a fantastic setting we will be back like a shot. From the other pick ups/drop offs we did, we know we were definitely in the best hotel! Thanks to all the dtaff there who made our holiday so amazing!! We hope to be back 🤞
